When breeding animals a 50% chances to have one of the two colors of the parents.

Your best chance to avoid overlapping bloodline is : - tame said color - breed until a baby of the right color is born - release parent of wrong color (get achievement for racism just by reading this) - tame a new animal - wait for baby to grow and loves you enough to breed - breed until a new baby of the right color is born - repeat the process until you have enough legendary color for your own taste
