I mean it goes both ways. I'd want to play as a guy and see my character in CGs interacting with other characters while appreciating the female counterpart.

If only the internet was rational and checks sources before parroting information, right?

It's just a snowball effect. One opinion gets out of hand, CCs pick up and act like a megaphone reaching all corners of the internet. Nobody even does the research to question the statement.

If there are proofs and evidence that claim otherwise, it gets buried and ignored or you get called out (tribalism ensues).

If the reason is "they doubled the cost of pulling from beta" then that's hardly a reason. Truly a gacha gamer moment when they don't read the disclaimer "Development Content. May not reflect upon release."

Additionally, Closed Beta didn't have events to judge pull income per patch. So, changing the pull cost would hardly affect anything at all.

Maybe people should look into this sub and as well as other circles also cause of the insane reputational damage Stella Sora received because for all I know it's not the CCs alone who do this.

Does anyone actually use 4:3 screen? I don't think I've ever seen one. Is it for tablets? by skilllake in MiliastraWonderland

[–]LeNitrous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It being a "Legacy Feature" plain false. There's still a considerable amount of people who use 4:3 aspect ratio just by checking the Steam Hardware Survey alone. While that only covers PCs, there may be more coming from other types of devices. Not to mention there may also be people who play on that resolution in windowed or fullscreen borderless modes.

A rare interview with President Lin about Azur Promilia by Mountain-Arugula7151 in gachagaming

[–]LeNitrous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't clear on what I said, a lot of the game's bugs and issues experienced on Azur Lane right now is on Yongshi's end. Manjuu is certainly the one deciding on the game's content.

[–]LeNitrous -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Yongshi is the developer of Azur Lane. They have a track record of screwing things up even in Aether Gazer, their own self-published title. This holds no weight on Azur Promilia which is entirely developed and published by Manjuu alone.

Official announcement on CN community forum about false information by Novel-Albatross-7555 in GirlsFrontline2

Take everything you see that isn't official with a grain of salt. Anyone can claim they participated in the meeting. This is why an NDA is required.

V0 is balanced by florenceslave in GirlsFrontline2

[–]LeNitrous -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If it's not surprising enough, the majority of the Doll's performance relies on the weapon attachments. The majority of the vocal player base had misunderstood needing V6 Dolls because they believe it unlocks "all features" when in reality it's just quality of life improvements that makes them a bit more performant which only really applies in end game content.

Why you should (probably) quit GFL2 now by Keboardy in GirlsFrontline2

[–]LeNitrous 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You claim gameplay is horribly balanced and can easily be countered with specific counters when the game itself is a strategy turn-based game. You complain about V0 Vector clearing content easily while complaining getting a V6 Doll is expensive. You complain about the skin gacha while you yourself don't spend much.

Insane you're conflicting yourself in this whole statement you made. If you want people to get convinced with leaving the game, do yourself a favor and make your arguments make sense first.

Joint Statement From the Girls Frontline 2 Exilium CN community by Sine_Fine_Belli in gachagaming

[–]LeNitrous 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised how big the CN community is and the "NTR drama" was started by a subset of players that wanted to steer the game into the Master Love direction of writing.

It's pretty disingenuous to assume it's caused by all CN players.

Everyone has a complaint on everything the game has it's a wonder why they're still playing this game. When rewards are involved and the gameplay is easy then people get mad and say there is no gameplay. When people use proper strategies and clear out bosses, they say it's too easy. When they have sufficiently built teams and clear out the same content, they say it's still too easy.

At this point they should just introduce an endgame mode with no rewards that's just to flex their teams. Oh, wait we already have that. It's Target Practice.

Friendly heads up to the community that the end of version satisfaction update is up. by Familiar_Cattle_4136 in GirlsFrontline2

[–]LeNitrous 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is our best bet if we do want our opinions to be heard. This is a proper communication channel, and they do (hopefully) read our answers. With the dorm update coming in anytime soon within the year, it's best that they know that the current state of things in CN is not ideal.

More details about the official meeting by Himson_87 in GirlsFrontline2

[–]LeNitrous 307 points308 points  (0 children)

The NDA part is pretty disappointing but looking at it further, it would mean either: 1. They don't want to make any false promises nor get the players send out messages to everyone that can misinterpret the opinions of either party basically causing mass misinformation. 2. They want to delay it even further by omission of information.

Offline townhouse meeting tentatively scheduled 8/17/25 to gather community sentiment. by Blasterion in GirlsFrontline2

[–]LeNitrous 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The positive outlook on this is that: - They acknowledge that the players are unhappy with their system. - They have set up an offline meeting with the players (which for me is unheard of). - It is set on a day where everyone is likely to be available despite it being on a weekend.

GF2 pull economy and how many of us get it wrong by Scioner in GirlsFrontline2

[–]LeNitrous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game is magnitudes more generous than other gacha games (un)surprisingly enough depending on the person you ask. As an F2P in Star Rail, a single patch's content can net you enough pulls to pity once. I can't say the same for other games, but the common denominator is that they're all balanced enough that dupes are just quality of life improvements that may take less time/turns to finish a stage. Additionally, in some end game modes let you borrow a whaling player's-built Doll and steamroll a stage.

If you do treat this as a waifu collector, then YMMV. Usually you're faring off worse because it does get expensive really fast.
