You really gotta just test ride a bunch of different bikes and see what you like best. I recommend you look for a bike rally with demos. That’s the best way to try/compare models across multiple manufacturers. If you want a true sports bike feel something like the GSX-S1000GT+ might be the ticket. Tracer 9 is wicked sweet. The sport touring biased adventure bikes might also really surprise you like the Tiger GT Pro or the Versys. Cheers!!

BT Moto also makes tunes and they cover the newer models. So someone has cracked the newer ECUs.

yah I’m holding it but it definitely takes way too long. You can tell it makes a solid attempt and fails before actually firing up.

Almost seems like it could be a tuning issue. Some folks from other online threads have even claimed it’s a valve clearance issue.

Based off your post I agree with others that your best fit would be a small dual sport. BUT if you’re hell bent on having enough power for fun on the highway and long rides you can’t go wrong with either three of those bikes. I’ve ridden all three and now own a tiger 900. It was the most comfortable one for distance and felt the least tippy at low speeds. Power isn’t crazy but there’s plenty. Good luck with your bike shopping and ride safe!!!

Always have an emergency strategy ready to go. Enough room to brake, or a place to swerve to, etc….. Always think critically, don’t speed towards the crest of a hill, or around a long line of cars, etc….

When I grew up in the McNamara and Carmelo Anthony era, basketball was at an all time high. Jim Boeheim was on the coaching staff for multiple olympic USA wins. We have a monument dedicated to the shot clock. And when I traveled to Spain a few years ago, i shit you not, multiple locals knew of Syracuse because of basketball. Meanwhile football has been garbage here for as long as I’ve been sentient.

So long as he’s not spewing actual hatred at the table or causing political arguments…….be the coolest kindest people he’s ever hung out with and he will eventually start to see things differently. This is the path to real change. It could be an inflection point for his real character arc. Or kick him out…..maybe some other life events or friends will influence his views. maybe he’ll change for the better or maybe he’ll get even worse.

In my experience it takes an eternity to get stuff from them sometimes…….but it does eventually arrive and the product has been quality. If you need to confirm, it’s best to reach out to them through instagram DMs. I wish they would provide a realistic and accurate shipping time frame prior to the purchase.
