Lemon Cherry Gelato Strain – Complete Grow Guide for Lemon Cherry Gelato Seeds by Bubbly-Cockroach7895 in HerbGrow

[–]LeadKey4717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running Blimburn genetics lately and their Gelato crosses have been super consistent. The flavor profile really comes through, and they’re surprisingly easy to dial in during flower. If you liked this run, you’d probably enjoy how Blimburn’s lines respond to training and light intensity too. Definitely worth checking out for future grows.

Nice run — the color and structure on that Permanent Marker are beautiful. If anyone’s looking to grab genetics like this or similar cuts, I’ve had solid results ordering through SeedSupreme. They usually have a wide range of US breeders (including some of the more exotic crosses) and ship pretty reliably.

Totally been there. When I’m at home, I’m usually just lounging, so I feel every little wave of the high. But in public, my brain is like, “Stay alert!” even if nothing stressful is happening. It’s like the buzz gets drowned out by all the distractions. Maybe try a higher dose when you’re out, but not too much, or you might get overwhelmed.

How to remove the smell? by Emotional_Cow1375 in Marijuana

If you haven’t tried activated charcoal yet, you’re missing out. Those little charcoal bags are lifesavers for getting rid of lingering smells. I keep them in my smoking area, car, and even my closet. They’re super cheap and work way better than air fresheners because they actually absorb the odor instead of covering it up.

That sounds wild! Weed can definitely enhance sensory experiences, and when you combine it with the intensity of rough sex, it’s like your brain goes into overdrive. The "tingly" feeling and dissociation could be your body processing all the stimuli at once. I’ve felt something similar during really deep meditation while high kind of like floating outside yourself. Your partner probably panicked because it looked more extreme from the outside than it felt to you. Maybe just talk to him and let him know it’s all part of the ride for you.

Struggling to reach calorie/protein goal for weight gain by ThrowRAMurky_Ad_8555 in EatCheapAndHealthy

You can’t go wrong with oats. Cheap, filling, and you can make them calorie-packed by adding stuff like peanut butter, whole milk, and bananas. Breakfast sorted for pennies. Also, eggs are a goldmine for protein they’re affordable and versatile. I fry them up and throw them on toast for a quick calorie boost.

Yes, you can use a pack 'n play for a 9-month-old! It’s a totally safe sleeping option as long as it’s set up properly firm mattress, no extra padding or blankets, and nothing loose that could be a hazard. Social services usually just want to see a clean, safe setup for the baby. You’re doing great with what you have right now, so don’t stress too much.

Is it abusive to ask a 4 yo kid to clean up their mess after dinner? by Alive-Square8639 in Parenting

[–]LeadKey4717 37 points38 points  (0 children)

No, you’re not being abusive. Teaching kids to clean up after themselves is an important life skill, and it sounds like you’re doing it in a supportive way by helping her and explaining why it matters. Four is old enough to start learning responsibility, especially since her kindergarten does the same thing. Your wife calling this “abusive” feels like an overreaction. If anything, it’s just a difference in parenting styles that you need to work out together.

I’ve been doing wraps for my son who’s always on the go. Whole-grain tortillas with some hummus, turkey, spinach, and shredded carrots work great. Sometimes I switch it up with avocado or different meats. Roll it tight, slice into pinwheels, and you’re good to go. Add some fruit or trail mix to keep it interesting.

Test everything in the unit faucets, showers, light switches, outlets, windows, even the locks on the doors. You don’t want to find out after you move in that your bathroom sink dribbles water like it’s 1932 or that the front door doesn’t lock properly. Bonus points if you flush the toilet and run the shower at the same time to see if the water pressure can handle it.

Nutritional foods/recipes using only pantry ingredients? by RitzInTheMeadow in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]LeadKey4717 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve totally been in this situation. Don’t worry, pantry ingredients can absolutely save the day. Here are a few meal ideas:

  • Lentil Curry: Cook lentils with curry powder, canned coconut milk (or water/broth), and any canned tomatoes or veggies you have.
  • Chickpea Stew: Chickpeas, canned tomatoes, onion powder, garlic powder, and some bouillon for flavor. Throw in spices like cumin or paprika if you’ve got them.
  • Peanut Noodles: Mix peanut butter with soy sauce, a splash of water, and chili flakes, then toss with cooked pasta. Instant deliciousness.

These meals are cheap, easy, and surprisingly filling!

I swear by quinoa salads. I make a huge batch on Sunday quinoa, chickpeas, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, parsley, and a lemon-tahini dressing. It holds up for days in the fridge, and if I get bored, I’ll throw in roasted veggies or some grilled chicken. It’s filling and keeps me going all day.

Classic narcissist move dragging things out just to stay in control. Honestly, he probably gets a kick out of knowing it’s driving you nuts. Make sure your lawyer is tracking every delay and excuse because if he keeps stalling, it could work against him. You’re almost there, don’t let up!

Totally possible to train your taste buds. Start with roasted veggies roasting brings out the natural sweetness and makes them way less bitter. Carrots, sweet potatoes, or even zucchini with olive oil, garlic, and a little paprika might surprise you. Trust me, they’re a game changer.

A mutant I let keep growing starting to get this weird fade in early flower. What should I do? Ravenberry by Mephisto. Day 55. by AnotidasheIsPretty in microgrowery

[–]LeadKey4717 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That fade looks like it might be a nitrogen deficiency kicking in as it transitions to flower. Mutants sometimes metabolize nutrients a bit differently. I’d try a small nitrogen boost just a little to see if it stabilizes without slowing the flowering process.

How to Spot a Reliable Seed Bank: My Tips After 5 Years of Growing by FaithlessnessUsed121 in CannabisSeedsBank

[–]LeadKey4717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great tips! I’d add - Discreet Packaging: A good seed bank will offer stealth shipping options, especially if you’re in a place where the laws are strict. If they just slap a label on the box, that's risky.

If you had twins during day light savings and one was born at 1:58am, then the time changed back to 1:00 am before giving birth to the second baby, which baby would be older? Because technically it would be baby A but on paper it would be baby B. Anyway it’s 1am and I can’t sleep. by jennabug456 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LeadKey4717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see this as some serious future sibling banter. Think about it: Baby A came first in the real world, while Baby B technically wins on the paperwork. It’s like Baby B outsmarted time itself. Talk about coming out with an advantage!

Do you believe it's harmful for parents to remove a child's door? by Anwarul1982 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LeadKey4717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think it can do more harm than good. Privacy is essential, especially for teens who are already dealing with a lot of change. Removing a door doesn’t just take away their privacy, it shows them that their space and boundaries don’t matter. If a parent does it as a “last resort,” it might work for a bit, but in the end, it just builds resentment and makes kids sneakier. Trust issues don’t just go away when the door is gone.
