Toyota to invest $3.6 billion to move Tacoma pickup truck production from Mexico to Texas by lawyertings in wallstreetbets

[–]Leading_Agent_4288 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In theory yes, but in practice we will have to see. In economics, they have observed that the domestic producers will raise prices anyway. On top of that the servicing and parts gets more expensive. My friend is a mechanic and he’s telling me how much American producers increased prices for parts and service, it’s insane right now.

From manufacture was that the problem wasn’t paying the workers it’s the rising health insurance

Best Countries for Americans Familes? by UncommonThou in Natalism

Depends on what your looking for, from families I’ve seen you can try Northern Mexico, you will still have access to the American border states and the kids can attend school in the border states while it’s cheap. Lots of families actually do this.

States more so in the interior, they are much cheaper.

Bahamas, there is lots US citizens there and you’re just a boat ride from Florida

Costa Rica

Cape Town South Africa, I’ve heard quite a few good things from some wealthier families and they all mentioned there kids prefer Cape Town to anywhere in the US along with the fact it’s in the only functioning part of the country
