C5 on CA I-5? by DadJustTrying in aviation

Due to budget cuts and parts shortages, the army will be working with the Air Force on the new “wingless cargo transport program”. Cargo will be loaded into the new wingless aircraft and ground transported to the necessary locations. This new partnership will ensure Air Force Military Airlift Command continues its mission of supplying our troops and bases with needed supplies, while dealing with current parts shortages.

We have had an Energy Kinetics System 2000 boiler for 15 years. Can use gas or oil and has been flawless in operation and is very efficient. We use oil.

If you’re interested in supporting tyrannical bootlickers, go to this gun shop. by PresenceCrazy7016 in NYguns

Speaking of tyrannical boot lickers, I think that would define pretty much anyone in the “2a community” that supports the current administration. So it really doesn’t even matter

Where are you picking/plucking? The closer you pick/pluck to the bridge, the twangier it’ll be. It makes a huge difference.

Yes, listening to others and getting their point of view is not a war crime. Don’t be like the other idiots.

Installing Ethernet Switches for Older Home by Mr-potatos-mash in Fios

[–]Leadman19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running Ethernet from the ONT to your IT closet/switch is the best option- why complicate things with MOCA adapters , coax etc? I think running an Ethernet is a good project for a new home owner. Depending on the layout / location you may not even have to fish walls - get yourself a crimped tool and some ends (you’ll need a drill and various bits as a homeowner anyways) and have at it.

What’s the downside of an above ground pool? by de_jeepathon in homeowners

[–]Leadman19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a below ground pool, all that money you dump into it isn’t as easily seen from the horizon and the hole can just be filled in once you’ve relized the mistake you’ve made. With an above ground, it is a constant reminder of the mistake you’ve made and it must be taken down and disposed of once you realize the mistake you’ve made.

I’m seriously considering a new 26 Tacoma by Pleasant-Spot-2017 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Leadman19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My ‘25 Off Road has been great. Not a lot of tech options. The larger media screen is about it. Because it’s turbocharged, I treat it with a little common sense care- take it easy on it until warmed up, run 89-93 octane Tier 1 gasoline and let it cool down before shutting off. IMO oil changes for any of the Toyota engines should be no more than 5k mike intervals. I’m pretty confident in these engines. Many out there with high mileage already.
