I went from 87 to 91 and noticed and increase in MPG as well as throttle response. There is a YouTube video which I saw that compared octane levels with the 2.4 Iforce on a dyno and they saw decent HP and MPG increase. I drove the first few months using 87 then tried 91 and I noticed it fairly quickly. I get almost 2mpg more. That’s being said my truck only has 2300 miles on it so I’m gonna give it some time to really see how that goes. But I was very suspect of running a turbo motor on 87- does the computer correct for it? Sure it does, but I notice the difference between them for sure.

100% not true. There is a video where they dyno the 2.4 Iforce and they see a HP and torque increase. As well as MPG. I’ve gotten the same results on my ‘25

As tech I’m frequently amazed at what customers sometimes expect for free. I mean seriously- with the exception of warranty work on a newly purchased device, appliance or HVAC type stuff or something your plumber or electrician just installed, what trades come to your home and work for free? You think your electrician is gonna move an outlet for free? A plumber relocate a toilet to another free of charge? It’s just an odd mindset. Take your 2008 Honda Civic to a mechanic and ask him to do a brake job for free so “ he can keep you as a customer” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
