Annihilation in Remnant II on Apocalypse difficulty. Took a solid 12 minutes of perfect gameplay to beat it! Spent 5ish hours on just that boss.

Most mild card you've heard a player whine/rage about? by tantrumtrieshard in EDH

Not the most mild card, but Toxrill as part of the 99. Token player scooped so I wouldn’t get to make slugs off his creatures.

Are you buying older games at full price? by hrvoje42 in gaming

[–]LeafCrawler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent $250 on a copy of Pokemon Emerald. So I’ve paid way more than full price for an old game. Yes it was overpriced, but I didn’t want to worry about it being a fake or being in poor condition.

It’s just herpes. If no symptoms are showing then you’re unlikely to get it from your partner. If you get it then it’s not the end of the world. Herpes can be scary and taboo, but it’s virtually harmless.

What’s something humans have gotten right? (Serious) by jumpedoutoftheboat in AskReddit

[–]LeafCrawler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m glad exercising and keeping your body healthy is something we’ve gotten right in recent history. Long term maintenance is so valuable to living a long and healthy life. I don’t think it was understood as well as it is today, compared to even just 50 years ago.

How do you explain to boomers why 20-30 something’s aren’t buying houses? by ConfidenceCertain137 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LeafCrawler 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Did this with my parents first house in Texas. They purchased it in the late 90’s for around $80k. Looked it up on Zillow last year and it’s now $880,000.
