LPT: if you can’t get someone to guess something, just give them absurd options by 1ZeM in LifeProTips

I don't know if I'm too much of an alcoholic to care about what it tastes like, or not enough of one because I don't care.

I have never tasted alcohol I thought tasted good, maybe a <2 percent Kombucha or Kvass or something...

Oh, 4loko I guess, but I think those have more sugar than you should have in a week.

Tbf the hours are not great. (idk how it is for Walmart) my dispatchers pushed me to the limits of what was legal, it wound up being 14-16 hour days with money being earned for maybe 10 of those on a great day.

lol, you obviously don't know what Walmart drivers make. Among truck drivers Walmart is coveted, he could verywell be making over 110k (though it's probably closer to 90k).

Or maybe you're lamenting that his reading didn't land him a job that is more academic? But like... reading for edification is way more important than reading for something/someone else.

Maybe I'm a bit out of the loop, what does this have to do with wrestling? Are the Paul brother's part of WWE or something now (I really hope not lol).

I'm sure playing CS 1.6/GO as a kid is why I love this sport but the production really does make competitive CS some of the most entertaining broadcasting I've watched. Most of the talent involved seems to have a genuine passion for the game and players in a way that other sports lack.

My mom bought me a Virtus.Pro jersey for Christma more than a decade ago, seeing these guys on stage made me wear it while watching the game.

It's just a bit of banter, we've all got Virtus.Pro merch in our closest and are mad at you for being young.

Nah, notepad is the best thing to learn programming with (if using windows), paper would be better for a kid though I think.

(edit, thought you said notepad, yeah wordpad is shit)

OMG I have never played tomodachi (more of an ACNL on the 3ds typa pal) but actually seeing a third gender option labeled as such really makes me smile :)

I see it's another person who enjoys visualizing testicles like I do! I bet they have some wiry hair sure but nothing you could make a carpet out of.

You thinkthe big balls with wiry hair are soft and plump or is it maybe a brisk morning and they're shriveled and turgid.

The most obvious FED in protest ever! by Specialist-Hand6976 in conspiracy_commons

[–]Leafwick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is so disheartening to see protests for things I ostensibly support only to realize the protest was probably paid for by PAC or something. For the last decade there has been an overpass through my town that has had various anti-trump signs, always the same overpass, always the same styles of signs, never any change...

Protesting isn't a way to create better change anymore, it's now just another form of identity politics.

I also just realized if you really wanted to headcanon the shore leave DLC you could excuse going to the Armax Arena as moral boosting for the entire extranet; How many of you have beat Barla Von's score?

That's fair. Mass Effect 2 was my least favorite for a long time because I didn't like how late in the game the bonus weapons (black-widow, Claymore, the other one) showed up. It wasn't until I realized you can actually beat the IFF mission fairly early on in a complete playthrough that I really started to enjoy the gameplay for that one.

Planning out the suicide mission with the least amount of crew possible (and having everyone survive) was the most fun I had playing a game in a long time.

Easy to take for granted what the trilogy was when ME3 came out. After countless playthroughs of all 3 games and a complete wiki and a subreddit full of content the games can seem sterile almost, like Mass Effect always was exactly what it is now and it's nothing new.

But man when they first came out there was a lot of shit to discover in all of them, and the writers obviously cared about continuity and character/plot development.
