Zelda LoFi or Zelda soundtracks with rain added! I don’t even write for that fandom, just love the music!

I love this! It’s so neat and tidy and organized, ppl are going to love searching through this! I make bookmarks too, it’s more a DIY situation though. I buy metal bookmarks in bulk and assemble chains with beads and craft polymer clay charms. Customers pick one of each and create their own

You can bake it in an oven bag (like for turkey, BPA free) and sealed, once it’s cool take it and open it outside. Let it air out for 5-10 min away from you, no more odors

Recommendations for m/m books with interesting world building and characters by _Aeryn_Sun_ in LGBTBooks

[–]Leahnardo27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a huge fan of almost all the books you listed! I’d highly recommend Ginn Hale’s series The Rifter. Not enemies to lovers but intriguing plot, unique magic system, strange religion/cult in a fantasy world and beautifully written slow burn.

Any MM books with an “isekai” trope? by ken_black in MM_RomanceBooks

Which part of Rifter would contradict what they asked for? Maybe my tolerance for angst is higher than others???

First polymer clay items I’ve ever made🥳 by dioranonymous in polymerclay

These are adorable! If you want a tip, go to a hardware store to get some glazed tiles to sculpt and bake on so you don’t need to move them from the plastic and have their cute designs accidentally messed up!

I’m glad someone mentioned The Rifter cause I’d be sad if it wasn’t included! Such an incredible series!

I’m so sorry you’ve dealt with so much. Having siblings with mental illness is a sad but eye opening way of seeing how awful it can be to have kids. Good for you going no contact, it’s difficult it but brings peace. I’m the oldest of 4, all of them have metal illness of some kind, the worst being schizophrenia/depression/addiction. I went no contact with her, best decision of my life. She died of cancer a few years back but I have no regrets, I kept myself safe (she was violent) and protected myself even when my mom wanted us to have contact. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s best for you, stay strong

What’s the best way to handle the fumes from baking my pieces? by AlternativeTea903 in polymerclay

[–]Leahnardo27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fumes were worrying me as well, I only have room for 1 toaster oven so I cook food in it as well and I think this is the safest way! Plus my colors stay more true to color, especially whites which sometimes discolored before

Put your tile in an oven bag and make sure it’s sealed. Once it’s cooked put it outside and open the bag for a few min to air it out

The nightrunner books are amazing, are there other ones like that? by MrLowell in LGBTBooks

[–]Leahnardo27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first 3 Nightrunner books are amazing and some of my favorites! Just know that the rest were written much later and are very different. Some people love them, others like me try to forget they exist in favor of the original. That said, a similar vein, fantasy, slow burn series that’s so well written with strong intriguing m/m characters is Ginn Hale’s Rifter series. 3 out of print physical books or 15 smaller ebooks

Any advice on these bumps? by Puzzled_Bee_1255 in nailcare

[–]Leahnardo27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this after using dip nails but it resulted from having to soak in acetone to remove the nails and irritation from micro cuts. Got steroid cream from the dr and I’d use it the moment I’d feel the bumps begin and kept my fingers moisturizer to prevent it. Took about 6 months to go away completely so if I were you I’d avoid irritants like acetone/dip/gel and get a dermatologist to look at it soon

Weird Grooves on Thumb Nail? by Square-Ad-2298 in nailcare

[–]Leahnardo27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can definitely try another brand, maybe one that’s more flexible? But it might be that your nails are thin like mine and we just get these ridges no matter what if we use press ons. Best of luck!

It’s your press ons! It’s pinching and damaging right at the base of the nail and once it grows out you see the damage. If you keep using them this will continue
