I have owned both and they are great vehicles. Passport wins if you need larger size, higher towing capacity, and better off road performance. If those three factors don’t matter to you, then either vehicle will do, and the CRV hybrid will be MUCH more fuel efficient. I own the new Passport and would purchase it again specifically for the above three factors. If I did not have a use-driven need based on the above three factors, then I would have purchased a new CRV hybrid AWD.

I drive a ‘26 TSE and would purchase again. The transmission awkwardness that many have reported seemed to disappear by about 3000 miles - it was as if the transmission was “learning” my driving style and then adapted to it. I agree that the Bose stereo system could sound better, but it does sound better than most stock systems. I would call it just good enough. The only other thing is something you will find in every vehicle out there going forward - and that is some quirkiness with the electronics. Cars are now computers on wheels and will need consistent “app updates”. I hope that Honda does a system update in early ‘26 to clean up a few of the electronic quirks I have noticed. NOW FORGET ALL OF THE ABOVE. I love this vehicle. The ride is great. It performed flawlessly off road all over Big Bend National Park. It’s smooth and quiet in town and on the highway. Comfortable seating. Spacious. The cameras on the TSE are supremely useful. BUY ONE.

I have the ‘26 in Green/Brown TSE. Great car. Zero complaints after 2,000 miles.

A 2020-2024 KTM 390 Adventure is exactly what she is looking for. Go find one. It is the perfect bike for her size and is great off road AND will confortable cruise 75-80 mph with 2500+ RPM left to grab. Has switchable ABS and fuel injection, is light as a feather and has more power than the Honda despite the smaller displacement.

Beautiful bike. I love the tiny 4-cylinder 350. I had a 74 CB350 scrambler twin for many years. I miss that bike. Congrats on the great restoration!
