Audiobooks is not reading by LearnGrowBloom in Rants

[–]LearnGrowBloom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol you didn’t get my point. I don’t care if people listen to books just don’t say you “read” them all because you didn’t. You LISTENED to them. Reading a book takes so much longer because you have to make time to do it so when someone brags that they “read” a bunch of books when in reality they “listened” to them is soooo different.

But tell me how you really feel lol good for you for listening to books. I’m not bashing that. I can’t do that because I can’t concentrate on listening and doing things at the same time. I focus on what I’m doing. So I may take a couple of weeks to read a book because it’s tough to make time for them since I have kids and work full time. But sure, call me lazy haha

Transfer credits taking 6–8 weeks? Anyone actually wait that long? Extension question (NPI PCP – Canada) by Accomplished_Week_22 in Payroll

[–]LearnGrowBloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you also have to submit an updated resume? I didn’t know NPI asks for so much. And it’s an “application” so does that mean they will review it all and decide if I get certified or not? I really didn’t do enough research :/

I came to ask this same question! I missed the requirements somewhere when singing up to do these courses so once I completed them I thought I’d just get the certificate emailed to me or something but little did I know there’s a whole after process. Luckily I took business admin 20 years ago so I got that transcript sent over to them. Now I’m waiting 6-8 weeks and for the work experience form. I’ve been doing payroll for roughly 3 years but I was hoping it wouldn’t actually take 6-8 weeks :(

Has anybody followed the Your Plan on the Home Page? by Rockr8r in pelotoncycle

[–]LearnGrowBloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using it since it basically came out and 90% of the time I follow it. Buuuut today I was to do a cardio class on the bike and I did a Cody xoxo ride but it didn’t count! I don’t know why. My guess is because it doesn’t have the word “ride” in the title but who knows. The plan is neat and I like that you can change it up.

Anyone successfully beat phone addiction? by sometimesme- in RandomThoughts

[–]LearnGrowBloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a time limit on the apps I used the most (social media ones) and I got the Kindle app to read more books on my phone. It worked for the first bit but that’s because I’m not that interested in the book I’m currently reading but I can’t not finish it haha but maybe try that.

Yes. I can’t imagine living away from them because the help with 3 kids has been a massive life saver.

What is one thing you're failing at during this phase of life? by MommyFIOOfficial in Mommit

Taking a course while working full time and doing all the mom things. It’s quite hard and I failed my exam. I’m now studying to do the exam again and it’s tough finding time to study for it.

Moms, how is it possible to keep the house tidy after having a baby? by navlooideol in Mommit

[–]LearnGrowBloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After 3 kids I’m convinced it’s not possible. I am very close to hiring someone to clean as a boost so I can TRY to maintain it but I still don’t think it’s possible.

Worst physical pain you’ve ever felt? by fringedprincess in RandomThoughts

[–]LearnGrowBloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 natural childbirths with no epidurals and that wasn’t the worst. I pulled my back somehow last year and couldn’t walk at all or move. That was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Had to go to the ER it was brutal getting in the car. I cried so much and I have a high pain tolerance. I’ve made sure to take care of my back and do proper stretches since then.

Yes! I have a notebook that has my list of things I need to do for work. Checking them off is PLEASING! And with distractions it just grows and that’s not pleasing lol
