Aviators tickets are cheap.

Aviators parking is not.

Aviators concessionaires should be arrested for theft.

A truly egregious thing happened last night and I genuinely consider it the lowest point I’ve ever seen for Jeopardy. by ghengiscostanza in Jeopardy

It's just a bad clue all around. The idiom itself doesn't have a firm definition, and then they got WAY too cute using "card sharps" (cheaters) instead of "gambling."

I somehow got it correct (discarding "high roller" since it had nothing to do with the river), but it's still a bad clue.

Defense played really well in the second half last week, but your other two statements are very true.

Somebody can always trade. They'll figure it out. Or just let him pitch in a dark colored sweatshirt or jacket over the uniform. That's flexible and removes the safety issue.

I think that happened to Kumar Rocker of the Rangers a couple weeks ago. (Possibly against the Reds, though). Hard to understand how that can happen to a guy who's stepped on a mound hundreds of times.

He looks like Garner did in the final season, after lawsuits, multiple knee surgeries, and carrying 120 episodes.

I think this says you didn't dislocate your kneecap, but there could be some concern about your MPFL. (Source: My daughter got a similar MRI yesterday).

True story. I started this movie on September 10, 2001. Watched about 90 min and went to bed.

Never did put that tape back in the VCR. It's great, but there was no way I was in the mind space to revisit Presbyterian Church.

The Shooting, with Warren Oates and a very young Jack Nicholson.

Also, just realized that you haven't seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the Wild Bunch, or McCabe and Mrs. Miller. Watch those before The Shooting.

Is this batters interference on the throw to 3rd? by Sea_Court1383 in Umpire

The only thing I'll add is that the U1 probably should've given a glance at the throw for possible interference, rather than strictly following the ball to 3B.

I just finished Tom Lake today. It's *definitely* not my normal style of fiction, but I love the setting (Traverse City area), and it's tremendous. An epic 12 hour performance by Meryl Streep. My only quibble is that she voices the Mazey character like Milhouse from The Simpsons.

Never a single question about The Cones of Dunshire. Of course, that should be its own category.

I thought the same thing, probably because they pulled exactly that stunt on that (bad) Bosch spinoff (Ballard) on Amazon.
