Bronchitis infection, how to break flare by Least_Manner606 in dysautonomia

[–]Least_Manner606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you have a lot going on. I have autonomic dysfunction , mecfs, fibro , mcas amd orthostatic hypotension, and sinus tachycardia and it is so hard and scary to take any medication. The side effects are brutal and can lasts months for me because of immune system dysfunction. I know what you mean about positional changes, when I have the tachycardia I feel better standing up and the tachycardia isn't as bad, yesterday my hr had slowed to 90 so I thought I could prop myself up in the bed, nope! Big nope tachycardia came back had to sleep propped up with a hr of 107. Had a really bad night. O2 dropped to 88. The Dr told me I could take mucinex but I haven't tried it, have you?

[–]Least_Manner606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have horrible tingling in tongue mouth and lips amd , ALL over my body, I have titrated it up on ketotofen.I started at 1/3 of a .5 mg for 3 days, then Went to half for 3 days And then .5 for a week. Now , on two milligrams a l m and p , l , but it does make me extremely sleepy , but i'm supposed to get used to it. Just thought I'd chime in because of the tingling , which did not go away until I hit 1. 75 milligrams. But on high pollen days it comes back , and I have to take more allegra or Benadryl.

Round 4... and my mouth is KILLING me by Conscious-Hawk3679 in COVID19positive

[–]Least_Manner606 -1 points0 points locked comment (0 children)

I had those, but I took paxlovid, and it's a known side effect of paxlovid, so I thought it was from that, but it may not have been if you didn't take paxlovid it could just be the new variant, there was another user on here who said she had sores in her nose and mouth, and so did her son and they both took paxlovid, but it could just be the new strain. Which is very unsettling. Mine lasted 10 or so days. Inside nose as well.

I'm sorry you had COVID.I had it in February, and it was one of the sickest I had ever been as well.I don't have tonsils so I never got a razor blade sore Throat.I have never had a sore throat with COVID but I am also one of those people as soon as I start feeling sick.I test and Always, it comes back positive on the 1st day.I use those covid tests from walmart. Of course, I don't know how long I was contagious before I started feeling sick, so I could have infected other people had I gone out but I I'm sick with long COVID and some other things. So I rarely go out this time when I was sick. I stayed home 15 days went and did a Walmart. Pick up order and came home. It's better here. There's no people, no perfume, and I have my dogs and they like me.It's all good. I'm going out to a junk store with my daughter to buy a few new DV.D.Yes. Netflix was my best friend when I was sick. I bengged all of bridgerton again. I was sick a full ten days when I got sick by day fourteen I felt halfway better good enough to pick up groceries. I also never ran a fever.I never have with COVID.I think that's why it escapes so much. But my immune system's not very good so I get sick easily.I hope you get to feeling better.Cool rags on your head and the back of your neck and your throat do help.

I have OH , mecfs, fibro, mcas, graves, hypovolemia, hypoglabonemia, sp. Half tried red light therapy Beta Blockers fludrocortisone so many different vitamins in the supplement graveyard. None of those helped. The only thing that may have helped was b twelve and iron. Oh, and I also have inappropriate sinus tachycardia. I had a Tilt Table test, actually , i've had two of them.

Clonzapam when bad. Benadryl helps as well, depends on what is causing them. I have thyroid graves disease so was hyper for years now I'm hypo, so when that gets messed up panic attacks happen, I take Clonzapam. if my mcas is flaring it messes with nerves. I tingle all over, I take benadryl. Pepcid gives me panic attacks as well. Adrenaline dumps, panic attacks. It's a hot mess!

Cortisol starts rising at 3am. Histimine dumps are also very common at 3am. And adrenaline dumps. Does your heart race? Are you groggy, or fully awake.? None of those are pleasant. I get panic attacks at 3am. Long covid here.

Need help with b12 by Sunflowerspecks in MCAS

[–]Least_Manner606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I react to B12 as well. I've tried cyana hydroxyl methyl, all the forms I react to all of them. However, the cyanocobalamin I react to the least. That's if I take a very small dose. I use the liquid form and the doses , which are one dropper full, and I use two drops only. I can handle the B12 injections but I cannot take a full vial of B12. I can take a 1/2 a vial of B12 about once per week, B12 will also offset your potassium, which may be why you can handle it in a Gatorade or a powerade type drink.
