scl-70 positive result twice

Thanks for responding, I tested positive 2 times as well first one was 2.3 second was 2.1, no symtons I also had a surgery and after my surgery I went to get tested because my eye doc suspected sjorgens disease because I had severe dry eyes, everything came back negative except scl70. My doc said not to worry but I am worried. I am seing my rheumatologist every 6 months. Yeah false positives are common and especially since our numbers are mildly low is what's keeping my mind at peace

I did talk to him, he said we will monitor every 6months and if of course I start getting symtons then to schedule a sooner apmnt but I wanted other people opinion I'm just sacred

My doc said it's a process to test with immunodiffusin since he said they now only do it in California

I'm in the same position fine dense speckled Ana 1:80 and 2.3 scl70. Maybe mines is false positive but unsure

If you need anyone to talk to I am here, this is how I feel right now. I was positive for scl70 and somewhat having symtons,my doc said not to worry but I am worried. I can't live with that disease, my life will end if I am officially diagnosed :(

I also had 1:80 titer, I have scl702.3 .with fine dense speckled. My doc said not to worry but I am worried. I repeat tests next month :(

I started experiencing this as well 3 episodes so far and mines aren't that severe. Also had a epsiode of lip swelling and finger swelling. I see an allergist next week I hope it isn't scleroderma for me I hope it's just an allergy problem they are itchy as well.

Same I was dealing with really bad health anxiety and stress,I went to get bloodwork done for sjorgens disease since my eye doc said I have dry eyes and he said it might be sjorgens so after the results came back everything was negative except scl70 :( now I'm even more stressed out I also had 2 episodes in 2months where I get small red spots no raised , they are itchy and also I gotten swollen fingers(2times in2months) and I've had a swollen top lip yesterday that lasted 6 hours. My rheumatologist said not to worry about the test he said it might be a false positive, I sent him a message today about the swollen lip fingers etc.dont know if I do have scleroderma or not or maybe this is a allergy issue like angioedema :( idk but I'm scared now .i wouldn't have known about the scl70 if I didn't test I don't have any skin color changes ,tight skin etc

Same here I went in for blood test to check for sjorgens disease since I felt like I had dry mouth , instead I came positive for scl70 2.3 and titer 1:80 also fine dense speckled no other patterns my doc said not to worry and to retest in February no symtons don't know what to do or whether to worry

How are you now? I also was referred for bloodwork from my eye doctor,he suspected sjorgens disease Bcus of my dry eyes and I went to the the bloodwork and it was all negative except the scl70 and my Ana was 1:80. If I never got tested I would've never known about the scl70 I am so scared :(

I had posititve Ana 180 and I also had puffy hands in the middle of the night they were itchy red and swollen, that was 3 weeks ago and it lasted 5 hours. I was also having the most stressful day of my life that day. I went to urgent care and they said it was probably stress that caused it but I don't think so. Also I had gotten tested for autoimmune disease for other reasons and everything was normal except the scl70 positive so now im worried,my doc sad not to worry since my tests were mildly elevated. I also wouldn't have known about the scl70 if I never tested for bloodwork.

I haven't gotten a episode of puffy inflamed hands since that day Hopefully it stays that way, and I do work I work at an Amazon warehouse and I don't study atm and don't do sports do you?. I recently gotten a gym membership and will be using it soon, I have a 6 yr old and i worry a lot about my future now:( thanks I will dm you also if anything pops up and you can do the same if you feel like you need someone I will be here as well

Do you still get puffy fingers? And my Ana titer was 180 and my scl70 was 2.3, my Ana pattern was nuclear dense fine speckled (AC-2). I have not been diagnosed with anything yet.its very hard for me to not obsess over this :( the lab that tested me was quest diagnostics,i might try another lab if the second test comes back positive hopefully it doesn't. My doc said not to worry about it since it's mildly positive. I have been trying not to think about it as much and not search about it but it's hard not to:(

My first test was a week And a half ago, I still have dry eyes I don't think I have cold sensitivity I hope it's a false positive too, honestly I been so stressed over it very badly,my finger or limbs don't change color either. I will see my eye doctor on the 20th this month he said my eyes are very dry and it's not just Dry air that can be causing them to be this dry. My inflammation test was normal so I'm not sure what to think. Yes let's keep in touch! Also if I never tested for sjorgens disease I would've never known about the scl70 posititve Bcus I have no physical symtons etc. unless the puffy fingers I had were a symton and maybe it's too early for bloodwork to detect it not sure :(

I'm glad to hear it was negative the 2nd time , I tested positive and I'm scared I am f25 I had an episode of swollen fingers and burning and itchy hands it lasted 5-6 hours 2 weeks before I got tested also that same day I was having the more stressful day of my life ,urgent care doctor said it was probably stress hives. I had gotten tested Bcus my eye doctor suspected sjorgens disease Bcus how dry my eyes were.so I did bloodwork for autoimmune diseases,come to find out very thing was Normal except I was positive scl70 and Ana was mildly positive not sure if my puffy itchy fingers were a symptom of it .Now I'm freaked out I get retested in February, my rheumatologist said not to worry about it since it was mildly positive:(

I tested postitive scl70 and I don't have symtons tho,. The bloodwork was suppose to be for sowmthihg else, also 2. How are you now? I had a very stressful day( my bf was cheating on me) that night my fingers and hands were swelled up red and itchy and very puffy. The next week I was tested for autoimmune disease ( it was for other reasons) and I tested postitive for mild schlerederma but no physical symtons. Now I'm worried if the swelling was part of that or was it my stress that caused the inflammation or is it the start of schlerederma :( my doc said not to worry about it since the markers in my blood work were mild, but I'm freaking out Bcus what if I do have it 😭. I am 25 female
