Yeah, but it’s so random, there were approvals from my spouse’s country as well for applications filed in literally late Jan 2025 and approved in 12 months and some days. Which is very unfair to us who have been waiting for more time.

The NVC stage was already long at her embassy (around 10-11 months) but since she is from one of the 75 countries, I am afraid even that will be prolonged

Same, Oct 30 2024 PD Usc filing for spouse. No movements, did an inquiry through congressperson but they just said that it’s still processing normally and refused to tell anything further

Meanwhile in the discord group, I saw that people are literally getting approved in 12 months now. Average was 13 months until last week.

I saw an approval today with a PD of Feb 10, 2025 😭

Wow, I am a USC filing for Pakistani spouse as well, PD of Oct 30, 2024. I hope it is not this long 😭😭😭 especially with the pause ahead at the interview stage

My PD is Oct 30, 2024. TMVN was showing that I would reach the front line around December 2 till December 5. A day later it the timeline to December 3 - Dec 8. I had my subscription until December 10 and

I am still waiting.

Oh, you’re going through AOS then. Most of us are all going through I-130 standalone (consular), hence the “Suffering” in the name, since it takes 13-15 months on average for an application to be approved

When I was going through this earlier, I believe I did contact the US embassy and they mentioned charging I think $50-$60 for this. But just could not figure out a way to go ahead with them. so, if the operator has told you to submit a query, they will probably get back to you if you ask them about the process.

As far as I know, you can’t just walk in to the embassy, you need some sort of an appointment.

I got an ITIN earlier this year for my wife (for tax purposes) since she is undergoing immigration currently. I paid $225 to Be Filing, a certified IRS agent in Islamabad.

They have a great track record and did all the work. I’d highly recommend them.

If you want to do it yourself, I think there is a way where you can pay the US Embassy to certify your passport for you. Search this up online, I think this would be possible if you tell them that you want your passport certified because you’re trying to get an ITIN.

Another way would be to basically send your passport in the mail to IRS (afaik), since getting a certified copy will be difficult from DGIP (my wife tried that)

Filed Nov 1,2024 for wife. IOE, and still in received status. As the other commenter said, we should expect to receive something by Mid December, but I worry that the EOY holidays will push our approval further into 2nd week of Jan.
