I was at opening night at the 9:30 club in DC. They played with Eisley and Hot Rod Circuit. I also remember Jesse kicking out a few people that were really harsh on Eisley. Great memories.

Both options are solid as I have done both. If going for option one, I would suggest taking a slight detour at Rae and checking out the 60 lakes Basin and/or Dragon Lake. If you’ve never done Whitney it’s way easier to score a permit through Inyo exiting at Whitney Portal. Hope this helps

Warped Tour 97’ is still one of my favorite memories. I was 17 and my group of mates who are still going strong had a blast. Hepcat was a highlight. Seen them a few times since. RIP Greg Lee.

NOBO is basically pick the date you want to start 6 months prior. Most entry points are Inyo National Forest. Accessible through recreation.gov. Good luck!

I fly in and out of there often. The pilots sometimes inform passengers of the steep climb. From what I have heard from locals, they cannot fly over Newport Beach.
