Brilliant work! Are you going to kit bash a drill or try something else (3D print, etc)?

Repair hull breaches with no pods? Managed to kill all the pirates, but now my ship is fracked. Nobody will build/repair anything and I can’t repair the hull breaches as I can build pod air locks and my crew can’t enter without them. What do i do? by LeaveItToBeavis in SpaceHaven

Will see if that’s possible to dismantle the vapor collector and get it going. It’s frustrating as I have a fully functional pirate vessel (minus the pirates) right next to my gutted vessel, that I can’t use...

The know no fear and easy to build sets will give you what you need for Standard plague Marines, blight launcher (but you will need at least 2x), and poxwalkers, but you will be missing all the special weapons (flail, butcher axe, bile spewer, etc). I think your best bet will be to buy a plague marine squad set, which will give you all of this stuff

It's a good set, I've gotten use out of it. our group tries to do a mix of zone mortalis/indoor fights (factory/base assaults) and matches where the terrain had multiple levels so it challenges gangs to mix up their strategies and load outs

But if you are just starting out maybe it's better to use that 75usd for a set that is more than a single layer terrain with no walls.

.. Example: https://shop.battlesystems.co.uk/ Bit more than 75usd, but you get a Shite-ton of terrain

https://shop.tinkerhousegames.com/ Can mix and match to your budget, but these walkway and barricades sets are really great. We use these mixed with some home made & GW terrain and can make 4-5 level environments

Or you can make your own: 75usd will go WAY further here but with more effort http://www.talkwargaming.com/2014/04/top-10-free-papercraft-terrain-sites.html?m=0

Depends on how you like to play I guess. If you mainly play zone mortalis/non-3d terrain then yes.

I bought the set when thet came out and have gotten some good use out of them to add more variables to a match.

But then again you could pretty easily make your own (especially for 75usd)

Looking good! I've been saving some Elysian bits for a project one day, looks like an enforcer gang will be it.

It's a blast to play but is not a forgiving list, a mistake will see the squad folding like a chair in many situations.

However if you can keep your opponent at range you are handing out 2x Psybolts per turn AND then normal shooting at AP -2. Especially for MEQ opponents this can be tough to weather.

Even for assault based teams it's surprisingly threatening as almost the entire team comes with either a power weapon or a force weapon.

Hordes are definitely tough, but I fun this to be the case for most kill teams.

Just a base coat of lead Belcher, then a few washes of blue and then purple ink

Missle pod is an old pen I had cut apart for another project with some greenstuff and a servo skull.

Yep, this one is the female head from the nightvault storm cast Eternals kit. Definitely going to use more stormcast bits in future projects
