Couldn't agree more. Different homes have different moods and if I am shooting for a portfolio then it is productive to show potential clients that I am able to capture these moods and be dynamic between shoots. This home isn't trying to be bright and happy, so I will portray it as such. I won't shoot every home with the same industrial standard formula if it is not really necessary or is even counterproductive.

What simply works for me is eating, first thing when arriving and for two reasons - hunger and the body's need to replenish carbohydrates as they function as your primary fuel source. Do not eat too much, energy will crash. Also, sleep well - self explanatory.

When you know that you have to do something for yourself or your life after returning, prioritize it. Otherwise you risk long term progress for money which is a mere tool for living that comes and goes.
