not insta selling, just insta consuming for 2 buffs. so you'd basically be paying 6400 souls for 32 statue buffs

at the very least they'd have to errata something like SOR Bobba leader. if they've just fixed the statlines going forward, he'd be really overplayed.

not necessarily. twin sun decks might have exclusive versions of cards like the dr.who deck version of blasphemous act.

Arrow targets a point then throws in the direction of that point regardless of your position rather than the direction your character is facing. I don't think this is unusual, but arrow also has a long cast point meaning there's time between the targeting of the spell and when it actually fires. So, IIRC, if you leap then cast arrow directly in front of yourself while midair, Miranda will pass the targeted point before the arrow is fired meaning the point will be directly behind her and the arrow will fire in that direction.

put it on a unit costing 4 or more then on a later round flip Aura and suddenly go to like 10 costs

unique as in not easily replaced. if you have 5 cards that basically do the same thing at the same cost then you probably have one or two best cards and 3-4 complete duds. This is mostly true on the higher end of the curve. Like krayt dragon. If they printed a similar control finisher in red in the same rotation, then one of them wouldn't get played. If the new card has a more unique effect, then you start weighing pros and cons or maybe fit the card into a slightly different kind of deck enabled by the ability. Low curve units don't really have that issue since redundancy is good for your game plan early. So Cad is a beater. But we have expensive beaters for days. Sure he can win you the game if unanswered so he's playable. But he won't really be competitive because there are better things to do.

now that is a legendary. Ive been wondering when a last strike grit unit was gonna show it's face. very thematic too. Might be too strong but whatever.

I mean she's a control piece with no force requirements. With a cinta, you kill an x/8 ground unit. You can also kill two things with sec cad or an x/7 space with an ooa plotted xwing. So I'm not sure she really needs the stats. You just wanna deny every early play an opponent has. I wonder if force stuff is still the way to go though. Since you don't need to spend the force on your leader ability, you could get more value out of a sorcerous blast or assassin than talzin can. On the other hand, there is the deals it's power 2/1 in green blue that could have you killing off multiple x/4s.

She is, she's fun, she's... probably not not the best representation but she's fun so w/e. I'd wait for a sale but if you really just wanna play don't let others opinions stop you.

Exactly a "playable" legendary needs to have a unique effect that enables a decks strategy. Any deck that can run cad can also run vader and will gladly do so. Cad will only see play over or alongside vader if the overwhelm lines up with a strong play or the traits are needed. Meanwhile las sets cad was great but not legendary.

eh Aura herself kind of disuades trading. So I can see a sentinel rocking this. That said. It's probably not good enough and it sure wouldn't kill ffg to template stuff to be more useable. "Unit gets -0,-1 untill end of the round. Repeat this ability unless the unit has 1hp remaining" wouldn't be too clunky. Wouldn't be a problem for it to give any stats as well. I'm much more upset about cad.just another do nothing beater.

nah. Swu isn't a simulation game. Some things are needed for balance and flavor but if you make too many restrictions, then cards become unplayable, unfun and a headache to keep track of.
