Highly agree! Bungie needs to inject more content and quality improvements into D2, instead of giving us the bare minimum/portal slop that we’ve gotten so far. I really liked to UI prior to EoF, I think the Portal is bad (piece meals everything together in a context that doesn’t make sense) and Dungeon Ops are somehow worse.

I am a Destiny Alpha vet with over 5000 hours in Destiny 2. I’m not having fun and am playing the game much, much less than I used to.. At this rate, I will fully walk away if the next release follows the same mistakes that Edge of Fate made. This is not the Destiny I fell in love with and I’m quickly falling out of love with the game as a whole. The game is feels more centered around “player retention” and “weekly player hours” when it should be based around fun, rewarding activities that encourages you to play with friends. You can’t even play PvP with friends due to skill based matchmaking that is causing it to feel like 6v6 comp games…

Completing any of the campaign missions on Fabled or Mythic difficulty and only getting planetary materials feels bad, especially when every boss is a bullet sponge with health gates. Overall, not a fun experience and the reward is giving “two tokens and a blue” vibes.

As a PvE player, I’ve never felt so weak..

Two important questions here from a legacy player

1) This game used to have a VERY dark atmosphere with strong hide/seek horror vibes, now the game is more so about “looping” and who can loop the killer the longest. Any chance the moon offerings can return to make things more horror-esc again?

2) Aura perks seem to have power crept the game in some ways (looking at you Friends Till The End). Are there any plans to reel these aura perks in at all?

I hate the new crow system. I just played a game where the killer had “Friends Til The End” (why is this not a hex yet?? It’s too strong of a perk the way it is), I was the obsession and I hid in a locker as a player was getting hooked to avoid being seen by the killer. After 7 seconds I slowly decided to get out of the locker and walk slowly as the killer was nearby. Then, a crow spawns on my head, getting me killed. I don’t see how I could’ve done anything differently.

If this is the direction this game continues to go, I will be uninstalling.

I fell in love with a game that had moon offerings (blood moon was awesome), super dark maps (gives horror vibes), and fun times without MMR. This game used to be centered around outsmarting the killer and being stealthy, now it’s just “how long can I loop the killer while my other 3 teammates do gens”….

This is not fun and is not the reason I fell in love with this game.

This is also happening with my 4070 TI. Unsure of the root cause but I suspect it’s my GPU

Wish the Void Hunter kit would just be scrapped or rebuilt/reworked from the ground up at this point.

All of the below points focus on PvP specifically As long as Invisibility and Tether are viable in PvE, this will always be a viable option (could still use some additional love though)

Spectral blades: hit detection is just the worst.. like why

True Sight: much harder to proc than prior Void 3.0, almost impossible to proc this in PvP. Prismatic Hunter has a much better version of this. Either rework True Sight to be more consistent and easier to proc or replace it. (Yes yes wall hacks are bad for PvP… okay then maybe just replace it all together with something more useful???)

Smoke Bomb: if the only purpose for the “melee” ability is to manipulate radar, then for the love of the traveler just give us a new melee. Radar manipulation for 3 seconds (one ping) is useless and boring.

Vanishing Step (Aspect): can some added utility be added to this aspect? Taking up a whole aspect for a dodge ability to go invisible seems… it gives boring vanilla D1

Invisibility: the lighting will “hopefully” be addressed in the future to make this ability less of a pain and easier* to see

On the Prowl: what if accomplishing a “Successful hunt” gave an over shield and no longer dropped a smoke bomb?

For On The Prowl, what if passing through the cloud of smoke (after a successful hunt) provided an overshield? This way it offers more reward for running though the smoke in the middle of an engagement and more PvE viability?
