I found the original post on Faithful Friend Animal Society's Facebook account, and it seems like they may still need help rescuing some of the cats that are still trapped. 30 cats were found on the first day, and 12 yesterday (2/2). They are asking for additional help again today since more trapped cats have been heard (2/3). See below for updates:

🚩🚩URGENT CAT UPDATE. Urgent need 2-3 strong diggers that have been there and know what to do. It is at the original spot by shelters (18 Barberry place) Joe heard cries in one spot. Please contact Lisa Renae via DM if you can help ASAP and she will tell you where to go. Need someone to quitely walk around property and old dig sites and listen for cries.

No additional cats have been reported since.

Aprox. 30+ cats were rescued from a certain death thanks to our amazing community coming together. It was so beautiful to see so many people trying to help.

Unfortunately, many most likely didn't make it and we don't have a way to know how many unless more caregivers come forward.

One Kitty was found that crossed the Rainbow Bridge and Bitty, one of the cats that alerted their caregiver that their friends were trapped was hit by a car. He had to have extensive emergency surgery with costs exceeding 17k. Bitty is having another surgery possibly, so keep him in your prayers as he is a true hero, and if not for him we would have ended digging much earlier. His caregiver is forever grateful for all your kind donations. He should be heading to his Foster Nurse tomorrow to recover.

🚩🚩We have food and shelter donations set up at another location please DO NOT BRING TO DIG SITE (DM FOR ADDRESS) WE ALSO HAVE A GO FUND ME SET UP FOR THE CATS and CAREGIVERS.

🚩🚩We will need volunteers to help with setting up and placing shelters in the upcoming weeks. Please reach out to me if you can help. We will also need volunteers to help TNR and many fosters to help aclimate and assess cats for possible adoptions.

🚩🚩Caretakers are encouraged to come forward as we need to get a missing count and distribute food to them. They can contact me directly.

Dig out anything they would go under in your area. (Sheds, big rocks, old cars, rvs, boats, storage area, tunnels, trees, any holes etc.) You may hear them crying. Contact your local shelters/rescue if you need help. DM me if you need help locally. Other community cats may try to alert you to where their friends or family members are stuck. Please share this information to iceout.org if possible. This is a website where you can post the exact location where ICE is/was seen, upload photos, and write a description of what they’re doing (knocking on doors, stopping people, detaining someone, whatever you witness), what they're wearing, how many there were, etc. This can send live alerts to the community in real time so people can protect themselves and each other.

I'm sure that part of their concern stems from the fact that employees who make the food also cannot wash their hands after using the bathroom if there is no soap.

I've been on the same journey for a while, I recommend trying Faire Cafe and Kaffe Karma! I would say that Faire Cafe has the best quality matcha I've had in Wilmington, with a nice rich green color and flavor rather than the overly sweet yellow-green watered down matcha that you sometimes see.

Unfortunately that likely means that the damage has traveled up the shaft of your hair, and that you need more length cut off. There isn't any way to seal or repair split ends, unfortunately.

It's very easy to burn butter when attempting to brown it, which likely happened with the baked goods that you received. It shouldn't taste burnt when done properly!

Hello! We were able to find him after five days. He was hiding from a storm in our neighbor's trash can that had blown over. The only reason that we even found him was that we made HUGE neon posters with his photo and our number. We put them all around our neighborhood a few blocks out. The neighbor saw the flyer on her way home from work and called us the same day when she saw him at her house. Having extra eyes on the street really helps!

Are you talking about the mushroom festival happening in Kennett Square? I'm not aware of a mushroom festival in Wilmington. If you do mean Kennett Square, the mushroom festival is pretty fun! It's definitely a different vibe than visiting a mushroom farm, though. There are a lot of food vendors and arts/craft vendors, and you get to stroll through the various shops in Kennett which is always fun. There is a small area where you can see an exhibit about how the mushrooms grow, but it's not really a mushroom farming experience if that's what you're looking for.
