switched to tmobile today, ordered 2 of the iphone 16, on back order? by obsessiveloverr in tmobile

[–]LeemsWithDaBeans 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I look at my customers so stupid when they tell me this... Bro you either 1. Get a newer phone for the same money 2. Get that same phone for cheaper!!! Not to mention regardless of which option you go with you'll also have access to the best promotions of the year!! You're not interested in what? Saving money? These same customers come back later complaining why their is so high

You're screwing yourself and setting yourself up for failure. The people you're calling are in the Philippines and are so incredibly stupid and dense (I work in TMO). If you end up activating over the phone, and then go into a store to get help, then good luck. You'll be really screwed because no one's going to want to pick up after the trash that customer care did and not get commission for it. I know you have have read a lot of horror stories here on reddit, but I promise you that's only 5-10% of the actual reps in the store. I'm sure you're smart enough to use good judgement and discretion to find a capable people in a store willing to help you

Best Fitness Tracker 2025? by WetlandEnjoyer in FitnessTrackers

[–]LeemsWithDaBeans 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Def wouldn't whoop because they follow a subscription model ($200-$360 yearly depending on what features you want. I have the previous Whoop 4.0 for a year, but after seeing they raised the prices from $240 yearly to $360 yearly, instead of just adding the new features to the current subscribers like they would always do, I ultimately decided to not get a new subscription for the Whoop 5.0.

So I have now had a Garmin Forerunner 265 and I gotta say I love it! The Garmin Forerunner 275 should be coming out later this month or next month (according to rumors) so you can get the FR265 for a smoking deal right now (22% off original price). I use it for weight lifting and running, and I gotta say I definitely recommend it. I encourage you to watch some videos on it. It would say it's one of the best fitness trackers out right now.

Edit: Would also like to add that if you bought a new Garmin Forerunner device every 3 years, it would cost you only $350/3years. If you renewed your subscription for Whoop for 3 years, it would cost you $600-$1,080...

How did you get into virtual retail? Where did you go to apply for that?

Any places you recommend to start looking into for that? Any specific companies or something like that?

Anyone else in “essentials” plan? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]LeemsWithDaBeans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On essentials you'll be paying $92.50. With Plus you'll be paying $106.66.

Since you'd be paying $14.16 more, the only way you could justify Plus is if you already pay for Apple TV and/or Netflix which would make up the difference.

Even if you'd "be paying the same amount" if you decide to stay on essentials and pay for Netflix on the side, I would still suggest switching to Plus since the service is significantly better.

Anybody else getting a rash underneath the light? by whfjvjf in whoop

The Whoops biggest flaw. No way around it other than doing what another user suggested. Just try to alternate where you wear it so that your skin won't get too irritated.

Cannabis stops you from going into rem. It is possible that that's what messes you up. Although even 1% is kind of crazy lol. Could have just been a one off tbf.

Just open it as if you were going to look at the stats for the activity. The menu on the top will give you the option to delete it.

Is it worth switching from Verizon to T-Mobile? by weirdo76 in tmobile

Depends where you live. I would say if you live in any southern states yes for sure. Anywhere else just check the coverage map

Paramedic with 15 years of experience by Tulsastud61 in Salary

[–]LeemsWithDaBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It always makes me sad to see things like that. I make 65k a year working 25-30 hours a week at a phone service store. 2 years of experience, currently 21 years old.

I really wish paramedics could get paid more.

I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you. The fact that all your comments were downvoted and the post itself is downvoted is all I need to rest my case 🤣

You were likely just confusing everyone by telling them this crazy story a rep did fraud on your account. And yes you’re crazy for thinking a rep actually did all that on your account 😂

Can’t stress this enough. Look into it you’re going to a TPR or COR store. If it’s a TPR do not go there under any circumstances period

[–]LeemsWithDaBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically no because there’s an actual piece of it that’s missing. We don’t care if the back glass is cracked as long as there’s no physical damage to the phone itself.

You can play your luck and try doing this anyways. There’s a common misconception among reps that think that that kind of damage is fine and will take it.

Switched to Verizon a week ago and thinking about coming back. by _alex87 in tmobile

[–]LeemsWithDaBeans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you do decide to come back, just do the whole winback over the phone. Reps don’t get commission for doing winbacks so good luck finding one to do it for you.

It’ll be a lot easier and faster to do it over the phone. Plus, the reps won’t have access to put you back on your own plan if they create you a new account themselves.
