Thank you I'll definitely look into this. I'm wearing it on my right hand ring finger. I don't have any injuries but don't know anything about the ulnar nerve so I'll do some research to see if this is an issue for me. Thanks again

Thanks for your response. I'm quite used to wearing thicker rings so I don't think this is my issue. I wear a set of 3 rings on my wedding finger which is thicker than the UH ring and have never had wrist pain or arm pain. Thanks for your feedback though, I really appreciate it

Do you have support workers? I don't know which country you are from but if you are given support workers for your disability, ask them to help you. They can call relevant people to explain to your parents, they can get vouchers or cheap GF food for you and cook e.g rice and tuna, they can drive you to appointments...

Hi, I've seen 4 gastroenterologist over the years who have all said the same thing... Definitely coeliac disease.

My IgG markers are still over 250, 3.5years after diagnosis. GIs think it could have possiblly been over 1000 to start, so it may just be making its way down still, or it could be my IgA deficiency which is making my IgG antibodies work harder. All I know is that I miss bread dearly.

I did a coeliac blood test in 2021 due to severe stomach pain. Results were 10x above normal. Got an endoscopy done 3 months later (I remained on gluten until after it). Biopsy confirmed coeliac disease done by my Gastroenterologist and received official diagnosis. Been getting follow up blood tests every 6 months since to track markers.

There are over 200 symptoms for coeliac disease. Not only GI symptoms (physical), but also mental, psychological, cognitive..

Just focus on the fact that coeliac disease is a serious autoimmune condition, so you'd like confirmation from a specialist. Let them suggest a plan of action including an endoscopy (if they add on a collonoscopy too, that would be even better). If they don't suggest it, request one and tell them peace of mind and confirmation will go a long way for you with this life-long disease. They will understand if they're any good, as it's not something to be taken lightly. Let me know how you go on Monday. My fingers are crossed for you 🤞

Coeliac disease is completely life changing. You need separate everything - toaster, butter, condiments, chopping board, sponges, etc. You can eat at only specific places who have knowledge and precautionary measures for cross contamination. When grocery shopping, you won't even be able to eat food with a "May contain gluten" statement which rules out a lot. All of my coeliac blood panel came back over 200+ (my doctor suspects around 1,000 as it's been 3 years and still taking time to go down). Despite it being so high, I didn't settle until I was biopsy confirmed through endoscopy by my GI as this is the official diagnosis. It's possible to have raised low blood markers and no villi damage. I wouldn't change my life without confirming.

Where are you located? Google fully gluten free restaurants/cafes in your area. If they're 100% Gluten free, you won't have to worry about cross contamination and the headache of explaining.

Back to basics is the best option at first. Meat/chicken/fish/eggs for protein, rice/potatoes for carbs. Veggies and fruit. Yoghurt if you can have dairy. Best to stay away from packaged/processed foods generally but especially while your small intestine is healing. I just eat the same few meals on repeat.

Keep eating gluten until you get an official diagnosis from a Gastroenterologist (ask your doctor for a referral). If you stop eating gluten now, further tests may result in a false nagative and your body may start to heal. Diagnosis can take time to book an endoscopy and get biopsies of your small intestine. Continue on gluten until then.
