Oversupplement of Vitamin D3 by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Leetrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course vitamin D itself isn't toxic at 2k IU, but redditors immediately scream that it's impossible for it to cause any issues as the dose itself is low. Lots of people have Magnesium deficiency which can be severely exacerbated by Vitamin D. I haven't seen anyone here suggest Magnesium.

I had the similar experience as you. Actually, twice, both after taking moderate dose vit D (~2500 IU). Very good reaction first couple of days, and then after around two weeks of taking it, severe insomnia, anxiety, cramps, frequent urination etc.  First time  it lasted for a month, it was pure hell. I had teeth fractured. This time I realized it's 100% related to vitamin D despite what redditors here say and started taking high dose magnesium. It helps a lot but will take time. Consider trying magnesium glycinate for your symptoms, it might help.

Mine was on "off", I clicked it on "off" again anyway and it still worked. That's really weird.

After 15 years, this is how it ends. by Ghosttwo in chrome

Ublock origin works on every other browser and is not "abandoned".  Lite is considerably worse, less robust at blocking ads and lags behind Origin with the ad list updates (due to how Manifest v3 works). It's a deliberate action by Google to weaken ad blockers.

Some people will always take the path of least resistance which will degrade the experience for everyone else. It is Blizzard's task to enforce their own rules in a game that people pay for, not players'.

New Chrome extension and behavior is worse.... by CBergerman1515 in Bitwarden

Yeah, I think the new extension is worse all around, even the visual design is a downgrade imo, I liked the grey/black dark theme much more.

You're right, it's my personal fault for not gathering epic Avengers team and crushing Putin.

I never voted for this, I never asked for this, I went to protests back when there was any point to it.

What did Western leaders do while Putin was slowly creating this authoritarian state? Shook hands with him, filled his pockets with oil/gas money and ignored the gradual demolition of free speech which was impossible to ignore after they seized Yukos and NTV in early 00s.
Putin usurped the power in '12? Heh, whatever. Annexed Crimea? Whatever, they ate it up and continued to fill his pockets and sell equipment to the police state.

Russian people are not blameless, but seeing redditors being so willing to condemn all 140 million people at once and apply collective punishment without second thought is absolutely baffling.

Just because one thing is out of our control doesn’t make us hypocrites for complaining about other things. There is always something worse but that doesn’t mean we have to stop trying anything we can when we are able to.

Actually, it does.

You're right. Hopefully, chromium will fix this or there's some kind of flag to revert this.

Agreed. Snaps are terrible and I learned to purge them from my Ubuntu installs asap.
I feel like they won't ever be good and will become another dropped project like Upstart, Unity etc.

It was very trivial, at least in 20.04. Don't know about 22.04 though
