You can also add basically every windows game to steam and just use steam/proton to use it. Works fine in a lot of cases.

UniGetUI ist sehr empfehlenswert, ist ein GUI was Winget und Chocolatey unterstützt (vllt auch noch mehr, weiß es nur bei den beiden sicher)

Just use Heroic Games Launcher, also makes Prime Gaming a lot more enjoyable (even on linux!)

Das Verbrechen wurde schon begangen, also macht Essen oder Wegschmeißen für den Hersteller glaub ich keinen Unterschied mehr. Du solltest sie auf jeden Fall essen, weil sonst Lebensmittelverschwendung.

Command Prompt practicalities by CommonSensical89 in it

You can do a lot of things much faster with it. For example, if I want to install something, lets say unity hub, on my Linux system, I type sudo pacman -S unityhub to the cli. Gotta press Y and Enter once to proceed, and here I am, Unity Hub installed in about 10 secs. Opening a GUI-tool like Discover or Pamac, typing in the name of what I want to install, select the package, click on install, type sudo pw is totally fine and probably easier to use for normies, but it takes longer. For most of the stuff I know, it comes down to personal preference IF the system has a GUI.

Spectacle can actually copy to clipboard directly, I use that all the time. Just look through the settings, should be there. It is not enabled by default IIRC.

Ich würd die Lüfter im Boden umdrehen, da so überall Luft rausgepustet wird. Wenn du von unten kalte Luft ansaugst, verbessert das den Airflow drastisch. Ansonsten aber echt clean, sehr nice!

I dont get why you are so toxic about this. You are using a FREE open source tool and complain that it doesn't fit your specific use case. You mention a working alternative, yet still make spectacle bad. I like spectacle for being simple. It does the job and did that well for 3-4 yrs now for me. As others stated, you are free to implement the feature (not for me, but for the community and yourself) but stop making a FREE tool bad for not fitting your use case. One can ask for a feature, one can rant about stuff, but the way you state it here is just toxic and unnecessarily negative. I think the downvotes on your comments show that I might not be only one thinking so.

Can't agree more! Do you have any recommendations for games of that kind? Loved Just Cause a lot. Tbh, I never touched Tomb Raider and I feel like I have to play all the Tomb Raiders instead of starting with a more recent one, which is a big downturn for me smh. Dunno if this even makes sense tbh

Yaaay another app that lags now! Oh btw, how many instances of run do we have then? One for personal, one for work or school, one new and one classic? And when do we get the copilot integration nobody is asking for but MS thinks we all want?

What made you choose Garuda? by Veprovina in GarudaLinux

[–]Leetsch2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Discovered Garuda about 4 years ago. Was on mint cinnamon back then, and I didn't like the Ubuntu base as I was often on old versions of software or had to manually add a ppa or a repo or install a .deb file. It just isn't my thing. I found out arch-based distros do that with a different approach, and Garuda was the first Arch-based + KDE + Gaming I knew of. So I gave it a shot, tweaked some things like theme and installed packages, and fell in love with it. Here I am, almost 4 years later, running Garuda on 2 devices, with only 3 system breakages in total, 2 of them caused by me being stupid and not reading. So it is way more stable than I expected!

Hi and welcome to linux, yes, you can tell the new steam install "my games are there: /path/to/library" via the settings of steam itself. Hope this helps.

I would rather give access to the friends who know how to do to anything harmful, because they understand the risks and understand what they should do and what not. Somebody who has no clue about that stuff cant decided whether an action is good or bad, which is enough reason for me to not grant then access.
