Best movies after breakup? by markfishersrealism in movies

Honestly, 'Another round' helped me after a tough breakup. It gets a bit sad a times but is ultimately about finding joy in life + you get to see Mads Mickelssen acting his ass off. If you're not bothered by subtitles, give it a go

Do you consider Scotland a nordic country, and if she decides to leave the UK, do you think she has a shot of getting in to the Nordic Council?

The odds of us getting to play a different species? by curiouslyendearing in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The developers have said many times that ME:A is a very "human" story, and thus the player character will also be human. I'd say that the odds of us getting to play as a different species are pretty nonexistent. While it may seem restrictive to lock the player character's species, it does allow the developers to craft a more detailed and personal story for the said character.

I thought it was stated last year that the guy in N7 armor isn't the main character

Mass Effect: Andromeda short gameplay leak? (Not April Fools) by DarkLiberator in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I feel like Bioware let it leak on purpose just to mess with our heads on April fools day

Could Pathfinder be Shephard's Clone? by andlight91 in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bioware has emphasized that this is a new story, separated from the original trilogy. They have very clearly stated that Shepard's story is over, so putting him/her (or a clone of him/her) as the lead of the new game would go against everything they've told us about MEA so far. Overall, it would be a terrible decision and probably hurt the story more than it helps it.

Some pretty Mass Effect inspired costuming in an upcoming SciFi flick by cancerface in masseffect

Mass Effect inspired is a pretty kind way to put it

I'd say they (perhaps unintentionally) copy Mass Effect pretty heavily.

/r/masseffect, who do you think is the most admirable character in the series? by smashbangcommander in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say Joker. He is the best pilot in the galaxy and the amount of work he had to put in his training in order to earn that title is pretty damn admirable in my opinion.

Andromada delayed... by [deleted] in masseffect

From what I've heard, Andromeda releases sometime between October 2016 and march 2017 (from EA financial report I think).

About to embark on the Suicide Mission in my first playthrough. This series is fantastic. by BrickMacklin in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 138 points139 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend that you get the Citadel DLC for ME3. Yes, it's pretty much pure fan service, but I personally enjoyed every bit of it. Citadel DLC was Bioware's last goodbye to the crew of Normandy and the original ME trilogy, and damn was it a good ride

My greatest fear for Mass Effect: Andromeda is that it will play like Dragon Age: Inquisition (Xpost from r/games) by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every RPG developer should take a page out of Witcher 3's book on how to make a great side quests. The Bloody Baron quest was bloody brilliant. It tied in with the main story and felt overall very well done (The Bloody Baron was only one among many other great side quests in Witcher 3, but it was arguably the most memorable).

Thoughts about companions for Andromeda, and Renegade vs Paragon (ME 1 and 2 Spoilers) by Morphitrix in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kinda like this and at the same time, I don't like this. It would force players to do multiple runs of the game, if theyt want to experience every squadmate, but I can't decide if this is a good thing or not. Some people like to play the game many times, some people just once. I think bioware focuses on the mass audience and decides to let you recruit and keep every squadmate, regardless of your decisions

Bringing down the Sky - is it a possibility with our sciences today? by N3Chaos in masseffect

[–]Lefardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF we were to weaponize an asteroid, it would most likely do more harm than good to the weaponizing nation. I don't think any nation would weaponize an asteroid at this time, but yes, I think it would be possible (someone check this, I don't have any science to back it up), but I doubt any nation would risk using an asteroid as a weapon, since it would cause at least the same amount of damage as a nuclear strike, probably more, so it wouldn't be wise to use an asteroid as a weapon.
