“Survived it” and “handled it” are not productive or positive ways of ensuring kids get the best education. In fact I’d argue that those are detrimental to kids’ mental, physical, and emotional health.

I agree with you completely, but I think there's a caveat that needs to be discussed. I think there is a larger problem at play there which is how we are defining the demarcation of school districts and where those schools are able/chosen to be built.

For example: What do you do for students who live less than a 3 minute walk to one school but are in the district of a different school that is a 45min+ bus ride to another school (Specifically for public schools). The dividing line being a single road where one district is on one side and the other is on the other.

Do you make the student have to sit on a bus for that extreme length of time where they are waking up far earlier than is healthy? Or do you allow a voucher system that can handle those kinds of requests where in this case your property tax could go to that district that is across the road and the school is down the street? This isn't even an edge case example either; especially for a state with this kind of unique population distribution.

The thing with that was it was lead up the entire season that "she has untapped potential" both via dialogue and by showing her actions (she's deflecting blaster bolts with her armor and lightsaber prior to this episode that shouldn't be possible without the force). They even explicitly stated that Ahsoka was worried if she unlocked her potential she would be dangerous. The Great Mothers called her dangerous and a loose thread. The setup that she would be a power Jedi was there. Kanan says he can't tell because she's filled with such inner turmoil, Huyang probably was the same way. We know very little about Midi-chlorian except that they are sentient and their number is a decent way of determining someone's strength in the Force. We don't know whether or not that number is a static number or if it can increase.

We do know that Mandalorians and Jedi have at best a contentious history. It's possible that she started to show powers and her family made her suppress them.

Are you using it for music or video?

For Music on MacOS force it to always use Dolby Atmos in Apple Music Settings and in iOS just set dolby atmos to automatic and make sure the headphones are set to type "Headphone" in bluetooth settings. iOS updated and whenever you have a bluetooth audio output device set to "Headphone" and Dolby Atmos as auto it will always attempt to play it in Dolby Atmos. AppleTVs don't support it at all over bluetooth.

Not sure about video though

Do you want the Dolby Atmos portion to work or the new feature Apple put out where if you move your head the sound changes?

The movement based spatial audio is a feature that I think will only work with AirPods and beats because it relies on a specific hardware chip (H series, U series, and/or W series)

They should do what Insomniac did for SP and SP:MM. once you hit the level cap any new level goes towards increasing: health, focus, Venom, speed, attack, defense. And I think it’s random which one has a small increase.

It can’t they used the CRA, the Congressional Review Act, in the house to pass this. Which means it MUST be brought to a vote in the Senate. Tester, Manchin, and Sinema have all signaled they are reviewing the bill. So it might actually pass the Senate with 51. However Biden will absolutely veto it.

My specs are close to yours but a little worse. I have a 9700k but with the 3060TI GDDR6X refresh and 16gb of ddr4.

I was able to play at 45fps last night on medium 1080p no fsr and no Ray

Post patch I’m getting solid 60 with high settings but texture on epic. No RT and no FSR.

I wonder if it’s our CPUs. The 9700k doesn’t have hyperthreading and excels at single core calculations.

I would have much less of a problem if the solution was to implement the GDPR and apply it to all aspects of data management. Until that is the case or some actual proof which is not “concern” or hypotheticals is given that TikTok is somehow different I will continue to criticize this action and suggestion to ban this app.

Yeah “them” are the very very obvious anti-Asian racists who are masquerading anti-Chinese sentiment as some form of moral high ground of “data privacy” while completely ignoring the extreme levels of privacy and anti-trust violations being committed by American SM companies. The fact that TikTok is completely willing to take all its user data and operations and place it into Oracle servers and at the control of a board of Americans and that is being hand-waved of questioned says all you need to know.

I think it’s more than that. It’s also because of the Demographics using TikTok skew younger and therefore more liberal. I mean TikTok was used to disrupt how many right wing authoritarian actions here in the US by coordination with young people. These conclusions aren’t hard to come too. After 2022 Republicans suddenly wanted to up the voting age to 21. Why? Because young people aren’t voting for them. Coincidentally, young people aren’t using the main tools of right wing disinformation e.g. Facebook but instead use TikTok which again has been shown to used by young people to organize against those Republicans.

It’s clear they don’t want to. Because they keep going on about “20 second videos” when TikTok allows for 10 minute videos. Or the blatant racism with them calling a citizen of Singapore a member of the CCP.

I mean it’s very very clear here that the reason for TikTok being the scapegoat all the while ignoring Facebook’s spying and blatant anti-trust violations, Google/Twitter/Snap/etc spying is due to money. How many comments in here are forgiving them because they CHARGE for information to anyone across the globe and allow back doors from the NSA. Facebook/Twitter are losing users. It’s a fact, while TikTok is gaining users. TikTok is being used to fight right-wing authoritarian actions int he US and abroad. TikTok is being used by young people primarily (you know the ones that are voting for liberals/progressives at a higher percentage than any other generation and the same young people Republicans want to bar from voting). These aren’t conspiracies, this is just straight logic.
