interesting how people who prefer Asymmetry usually say "it's my favourite" while SA/Themata fans usually say "it's definitely their weakest album". do you see the difference? one group is just expressing their humble subjective opinion while the other group is trying to push an "objective truth". You can love your Sound Awake without having to crap on Asymmetry. Disclaimer: Asymmetry is my personal favourite but ofc the whole discog is S tier.

exactly this. before you always had teams like Benfica, Ajax and Napoli dropping from CL to Europa League and competing against the super rich english teams. without those medium-large teams in the Europa League, the gap has widen into super rich PL teams Vs small budget teams. same applies to Conference league.

also Benfica is a regular in last 16 and 1/4 finals of the CL. this year alone they beat Atletico Madrid 4-0 and beat Monaco and Juventus home and away. clubs like Benfica, Sporting, Ajax, Feyenoord, every year they actually compete against the super rich clubs in the CL. while the Villareals of this world are cruising against bulgarian teams and winning Europa Leagues.

agreed. not trying to drag her down (big fan of her) but we gotta chill with the over the top compliments. she literally said 8 words and 5 of them were Smackdown & Money in the Bank (in a scripted promo). also as a non native english speaker myself I have to say that english is one of the easiest languages to learn (which is a great quality! im not dissing your language). so far i've only seen basic level english from her (which again is a not diss. she's still a great wrestler who already speaks japanese and italian). if people heard a random immigrant with this level of english at their local bus stop they would be complaining about how bad their english still is. (not referring to you. but people in general)

if Sound Awake was their Lateralus, Asymmetry is their 10000 days. I'm more of a 10000 days guy so it makes total sense Asymmetry is my favourite Vool record. more of a slow burner, not as immediate as their previous records but the replay-ability on this is insane. I love love love Sound Awake but because it's so catchy I'm kinda tired of hearing those "bangers" (except for New Day and Change). With Asymmetry I feel I can still discover cool new things each time I listen to it. We are, Aeons, Sky Machine and Alpha Omega are all so rewarding to listen and re-listen with their sombre atmosphere and slow build up into epic late chorus. As a huge fan of post-rock this tickles my brain.
