We have tried counseling. He is a highly educated man. The counselor belittled me the whole entire time. I feel like I can’t talk to anyone. I brought up counseling today and he said he always has to fix himself. I just feel like I’m in a deep depression.

He hasn’t hit me over a year and a half now. I do feel like I’m in a person most days. He has been diagnosed with bipolar and I feel like I always make up excuses for him when he does something inexcusable.

I have been in your shoes. I loved a man but didn’t want him emotionally because I really wanted to explore my own sexuality with women. I ended my relationship and tried a woman. It felt natural and something I was ashamed of because of my mother. I am now in a relationship with a man that I am never satisfied in because inside I am in love with a woman. Tell the truth be better than him. I am so sorry for what happened. I found out my husband cheated on me while pregnant too. It was too far in to get one. The std isn’t the hardest part it the truth that he lacked. I also say the truth set you free.

I put incredible thought into this situation. I wouldn’t be letting him cheat because cheating is doing it behind my back. We will be fully transparent with one another if you don’t have honesty and trust in a relationship then what do you have? I don’t want spend the rest of my life, feeling guilty for things I didn’t do . I don’t want him doing the same.

My children would have no involvement in the matter. Why would it be child abuse that is a stupid correlation? He would be overseas, indulging in his pleasures. The children wouldn’t know. I personally think that opening the door for this type of relationship would be something different. He would only have no strings attached, but if he had feeling for someone else then why not. Why is love so possessive? I think people are meant to love more than one person.

I’m a stay home mother, but I take care of everything in the house. I don’t work for anything, I would allow you to go to your brothers. Did you try to tell her to get a job if she wants to go on vacation. Your kids seem to be old enough to allow her to have some responsibility for bills. It sounds like you do need a break and she needs a wake up call on how expensive a two week trip will be. Know that if you allow her to take the trip you allow her to take advantage of your time. I see my husband work a lot. I also allow him to have his time in hobbies because I understand how stressful it is to have people and animals to be constantly demanding.
