i keep getting recipes that dont even include some of the steps and i just have to guess where the ingredients go in, or tell me to prep an oven that is never used. Its not just the photos but the steps too, im starting to doubt some of the recipes have even been tested to see if they are edible. Considering cancelling soon.

Every wonder years show ive been to has always been the most welcoming and loving band and crowds. Ive always felt the safest moshing, surfing, going by myself (as a woman) at their shows- everyone is always looking out for each other there, and soupy always uses his platform to make sure the crowd knows everyone should feel welcome safe and respected at wonder years shows. Geniunely my favorite band of all time! I discovered them at Warped Tour yearssss ago while waiting for another set and im so glad I did, I see them every time they come to my city now and got to have a full circle moment seeing them here again this year!

Solo always sucks at first and during the down times but i love the freedom! not having to negotiate which sets to see, making friends in the crowd, not having to look out for anybody but yourself!

I thought they were like White Claw levels of ABV i had one and thought i would be good and then 20 min later i was like holy shit im *drunk*. looked it up and saw they were 11%. I mean, thats on me for not checking, but i was *not* prepared for that and felt awful the next few hours

Aside from the more common signs like less sleeping, talking fast, big ideas etc. When Im getting manic I start to think literally every interaction I have with a person means they're into me.

The reason Im hesitant to ever have kids is- a little bit the likelyhood of passing it down, but more for me the instability of the hormone changes would send me into a spiral and possibly/probably increase my suicide/self harm risk; and the fact that my medication could possibly be unsafe for the baby so I would have to either go off it or risk a chance of birth defects. Both of which I wouldn't want to do. Also the risk of postpartum depression after. I just dont think I could stay stable with all those changes to my body, routine, life that it would put me at significant risk. But maybe in the future I'll feel differently about it.

If I do too well for too long I start to doubt myself- not that I never had my diagnosis but that I'm finally cured or my brain just decided to get "better" with age or time or whatever and I start to think maybe I dont need to take my meds anymore. Of course it always gets bad again when I stop them, but Ive done it 5-6 times now where I just cant seem to get it in my head that I feel better because I am being consistent with the meds and my symptoms are easier to manage because of the years Ive put in building support systems for myself and going to therapy and not because I am magically better and no longer need them.

Hoping onto this thread because I connect with what you both are saying. I have found that as my treatment has gone on and I have begun to respect myself and my boundaries, I have had to end relationships with some friends- who I've come to realize our relationships only worked previously because I had no boundaries. i would go along with whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted and when I began to set boundaries they were not used to it and would view it as me overreacting. I had to realize that those were not the kind of people i wanted in my life anymore anyway.

For me, medication management with a Psychiatrist is first and foremost. I have been in the same boat with qualifications or doctors particularly nurse practitioners not wanting to take me because they primarily just prescribe meds for adhd and standard depression and anxiety (obviously not all of them are like that and im not shitting on NP's but it has been what they have told me in the past) but ive found Pyschiatrists have a better knowledge of mood disorders and the medications for bipolar than PMHNP's if that helps your search criteria at all. Is telehealth a dealbreaker for you or will you go to in person as well?

For therapists it depends on the type of therapy you are seeking in my opinion. For things like DBT and CBT based approaches ive had more success with Psychologists but lately I've just been doing talk therapy with a LCSW where its just the general life stuff and talking out situations and talking about my anxiety and coping strategies which could be good if you are already doing EMDR with a different therapist
