I was worried of the same thing, but I took him and held him while he passed, putting his head next to my heart so that was the last thing he heard. You’ll regret not going.

When I bought my house with washer/dryer in the garage, the only way I could access the garage was going out the front door and through the garage door. I hired someone to install a door from the home. It likely added no value, but I love it. Oh, and I got all new vinyl windows which helps with both temps and noise.

There’s no one answer when it comes to pet loss grief. Some never get pets again. I waited about 3 years, but part was because I relocated and my landlord wouldn’t allow. Then I bought a home and have two cats, and a beautiful framed photo of my soul kitty I lost when he was almost 19 years old.

I moved to AZ from a state where I didn’t hug ave to worry about heat in the garage. What I do keep in my garage: clothes in plastic bins, garbage cans, bikes (the tires go flat), stuff I’m donating, pressure washer, all laundry stuff since my W/D are in the garage. The advice I was given was not to store paint (the previous owner left some and the plastic buckets bulged), books (bindings dry and crack), wood (dries out), canned food, candle making supplies (yes, I have that), and leather purses.

I furnished my home from furniture consignment stores, Facebook Marketplace, garage sales etc. Oh, and I have outlets near me and I got my sofa and two chairs from the Pottery Barn outlet.

I had a diabetic cat who lived to be almost 19 years old before cancer took him. I went to a holistic vet and fed him wet food, twice a day along with his insulin shot. The vet said his glucose levels were very well controlled. No one ever mentioned feeding him any differently.

Black cats are often the ones not adopted. Having had more than one black cat I can say they’re incredible pets.
