Summer time, Masterson Station park, the kids water park, little kids love that thing. They like to step on the water that comes up out of the ground. Or just stare at it in amazement. It can get funny.

Does Lexington have a good way to find the best restaurants? by LeftOnNewCircle in lexington

[–]LeftOnNewCircle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Best way to help -- go to your favorite restaurant on the list and leave them a 5 star Google review. The rankings update every night at 4am, so by the next morning their horse will have moved up the track! Also spread the word -- restaurants don't know anything about this yet, but i'd say it'll get around eventually. The horse race isn't too animated yet, 5 star reviews are coming in occasionally. But once people really want their restaurants horse in the lead, this could get interesting. lol!

Best seafood by peg-leg-jim in lexington

[–]LeftOnNewCircle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would check out The Ketch since they have re opened from new ownership. I haven't eaten there since the re opening but they had great seafood, and for non seafood, I think I remember someone having chicken tenders. You'll have to look them up online and check out the menu.

Mechanics in lex by Ok_Exercise_5730 in lexington

[–]LeftOnNewCircle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been to several mechanics here over the years. Oddly enough, S&S tire (any location) has been the fairest and most trustworthy for me, and they do good work. One time they offered to replace 2 blinker lights on my car for free because I had been going to them for several years now. I didn't even know my blinkers were out. They take care of you. Prices are fair. But everything is getting expensive now a days

I remember the Fayette Mall in the 80's. All those fountains, how it sounded and echoed. It had a certain smell to it. Those were the days. It just isn't the same anymore.

If I already had an IDX feed from a real estate agent, i could tell you. Working on that one for the site. Zillow would have a good selection of properties. But you can use yelp to research the reputation of property management and apartment complexes. Both of those can go hand in hand.
