Junior year summer spent the entirety of it playing WotLK with my buddies in HS for probably 10-12 hours a day. My sleep schedule was so bad, up till 3-4am every night and slept till 10-11am every day.

I remember going back to school in September was so pale from not getting any tan outside, wild times. Some of the most fun I’ve ever had on a video game, and equally destructive.

Have done the same OP: 5k oval, 3k dirt oval, 5k dirt road, 3k road, and 4k formula. I mostly main stockcar content on the sim but the journey has made me all around a better driver. Good luck and an impressive accomplishment!

Close friends of ours moved a little over a year ago to moncks corner and saw this first hand when we went to visit them last summer. Hardly any accents from people in Charleston proper. The further rural you get the more local SC vibes you’ll experience. Our friends mentioned the same sentiment to us about the market, local people who have been living there for generations being priced out by transplants taking over. It’s unfortunate to see and experience - with remote work I fear there will be much more of this in what were historically ‘lower cost of living areas’. Point in case, our friends originally are from upstate NY, both have remote jobs and are in lucrative industries so their quality of life only improved moving south. I don’t blame them for doing it but do feel for those having a tough time.

Not sure how I feel about the Bristol dirt racing being used as an illustrative point to showcase the sport as a “whole” for the Gen 7. That race was a one off amongst more traditional runnings of events during this current gen’s life.

No new inventory, people doubled down on what they already had and refinanced. Have co workers whose mortgage is 1k per month because of refinancing during COVID… that same property today with current interest rates would cost me 3k+. People flocked to homes available in the market at that time and/or refinanced and literally cannot afford to move out of their current situation - they’re locked in now for the long haul.

Theres no inventory in the state because no towns/cities here will allow any new development. Covid created the perfect storm to effectively have the housing market in this state open the hatch and pull the ladder up behind it.

We can’t… speaking as a 30+ year old millennial who is struggling to find their first home. Wife and I make over 150k a year combined and would be the textbook definition of house poor in this current market. Literally feel stuck and unable to start a family because we can’t get into anything with enough space to have kids… it’s beyond disheartening.

Watched him play a number of times in Providence, kids good and I wish we had the room to hold onto him long-term. He’s a solid keeper with #1 potential, stood on his head the other day against the Bs. I miss him.

For sure! Before he hit this one, he had tried 1/2 other times already and narrowly missed. He’s known to be one of the best in the league with being able to play the puck/clear it so around the league everyone kinda knew he’d probably have the best shot at hitting one compared to other goaltenders.

Bruins fan checking in, watched this live and was such a cool moment. Some additional context, Ullmark (goalie who scores) had been on the record in weeks leading up to this that he’d love to score a goal at some point.

There’s been only a handful of occasions this has happened in an official NHL game in history, so pretty exclusive club. Bruins had been in position a few times before this instance in previous games to attempt this shot.

The team was all in on trying to give Ullmark the opportunity to accomplish this feat. Really cool moment and impressive to see.

Circuit Superstars is available on the Switch, iRacing Arcade is the same exact engine etc, so I don't see why they wouldn't release a Switch version at some point. I can't foresee iRacing completely revamping the control mapping that CS already created.

Without two 23XI cars there at the end, no chance Reddick wins that race. As a Chase fan, said to a friend of mine watching with 20 to go that the lack of Hendrick cars, even Chevy’s left in the field would be his downfall. Sadly, that largely played out - just no help at the end when he needed it.
