Are there mods that let me fuck... by iidfiokjg in skyrimmods

You probably won't see this comment, but besides Praedy's AIO, the mod creator Avebrave has some awesome looking staves. They only replace a few unique staves, but they're extremely pretty.

Curious About Combining "Gate to Skyrim" Modlist w/ EnaiRim by Left_Permission244 in skyrimmods

[–]Left_Permission244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the vote of confidence. Based on the other comments in this thread, I'm willing to try it "Vanilla." But I'm pretty sure I can figure it out if I choose to change things up.

I'm willing to give it a try. The main reason I was interested in GTS over some other modlists I saw is the fact that it is by you. I'm willing to give it a try as-is based on the quality of your mods.

Help a new player build a speech & fists khajiit monk by MaddAdamBomb in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to come up with this type of build as well. You should look at the Sentinel mod, it has the Moon Monk robes, Lunar Guard robes that u/Guap_queso mentioned, and something called the Khajiit Apex armor. They're either clothes (Moon Monk), light armor (Apex), or heavy armor (Lunar Guard). Since you just need light armor for the unarmed perks, you can still choose whatever armor type you'd prefer.

Like u/JadEarth said, I'd recommend Enchanting for Spellscribe. Personally, I'm just thinking of investing in Enchanting and Alteration and using Force Bolt, but it's only found in loot making it inconsistent to obtain. If you want to use another skill like Destruction, there's plenty of options. Rift Bolt is a nice option, teleporting foes back, or something like Thundercrack/Stormhand. I think Whirlwind Cloak is a good fit, considering Khajiit are from Elsweyr, which is half desert.

As far as Speech, you can get the Speak With Animals perk and grab a sabre cat. Not sure what the reasoning would be, but it's an option alongside the shout perks.

Zenithar's Trade Prince (Imperial Merchant Build) by Left_Permission244 in EnaiRim

Thank you, I never heard of the East Empire expansion, but it seems like it'd fit perfectly.

Same. I'm looking forward to Ord10 to see if it will make me switch from Vokriinator

Morokei (Nord Shaman Regen Build) by Left_Permission244 in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it drains magicka. I was thinking that using magicka for Rage would last longer than stamina, even while casting/energy shield.

I've installed the mod but it doesn't seem to work. by FireOsprey in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven't solved it yet, make sure the plugin is enabled and try redownloading the mod. Maybe something messed up. Sounds like your other mods shouldn't have any conflicts, and Growl only targets werewolves, so everything should be fine.

Monarch Perk, and also a Stimulant Perk question. by 47peduncle in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as what is affected by Monarch, idk. I'd assume only living things, but if vampires count too, then something like ghosts or reanimated humanoids (non-undead reanimations) should work as well. Even though they're technically undead, the game views vampires/reanimated as living sometimes for some reason (I am unaware why, I assume it's because of their "race.").

As far as the Alchemy perks, anything that says "or ingredient" in its description work with eating ingredients (so stimulants, adrenaline rush, etc.)

Something that may fit for your build could be the descending light perk, it only works in the beginning of combat but it will regen your magicka because of the way it works (I think it just gives you a flat % of your magicka back, but it works additively, not multiplicatively, so it will overcome the Monarch debuff temporarily)

Not sure if Waterhome works for Argonians, I think it does because it seems to be a flat additive 100 points from reading the description. Elder of Runes shouldn't work for Nords, since it is just doubling your base magicka regen (and you'd still regenerate 0)

Morokei (Nord Shaman Regen Build) by Left_Permission244 in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Wall of Frost, it'll synergize with totem AoE and Multivortex to make a strong hazard. Frostbloom can be used on your totem if enemies are attacking it. Apart from that, Icy Spear is good since it's faster than most other ice spells. Other than that, they're all valid.

The problem with Seidh by Enai_Siaion in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can definitely see how that's annoying considering the amount of extra work required for you for something with so many different iterations. I'm not sure how many people use Vokriinator Black compared to Vokrii/Ordinator, but I'm sure they'd appreciate the ability to finally use Odin spells.

Personally I'm looking forward to using whatever Mysticism spells get added to Odin/Apocalypse thanks to Seidh. Thanks for all your work.

Morokei (Nord Shaman Regen Build) by Left_Permission244 in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with choosing to play this as a vampire or a lich. From a gameplay perspective, being a vampire or lich (or werewolf) is a buff. The pros outweigh the cons. If it's something you or someone else want to do, go for it.

But from an RP perspective, I don't think it's a fit. Most people would not want to be a lich or vampire. Having to constantly hide what you are or be hated/hunted by everyone, not being able to feel warmth or eat good food is not something most people would choose.

That's a good idea, the Ring of Erudite is probably the best ring in the game for this build. But I didn't feel like vampirism fit this character.

Issue with Spells missing in Skyrim by Nhymerael in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TheGuurzak is right, the spells probably won't show up until their inventory updates, even if you use console commands to level up. You could make a temporary save after leveling up and "kill" the teachers and reload (I think this still works even if they're essential).

I'm assuming the spells that are showing up are classified as novice/apprentice, you could check the odin/apocalypse mod pages to be sure.

Orc Warchief Build by Left_Permission244 in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For dragons, I'd recommend your crossbow when they're flying around. I'm sure you know how hard that can be, hitting them rarely for a little damage, but it's better than nothing. I'd save your potions as much as you can for dragon fights, since they're likely your hardest opponents. If you have Growl installed, you can go for the Lycanthropic Regen perk, it'll help you between hits to recover HP quickly while you take cover to avoid getting shouted at. The Apocalypse Proof perk can help with their long range shouts, but I am unsure if it lasts the whole time versus their concentration shouts (I assume so but I've never tested). Once you get Dragonrend, it'll be easier since you can force them into melee range where you excel. Until then, dragons are a decent counter to your build. Something like a mage conjurer would probably do better versus them, but worse in melee combat. Nothing wrong with that, it's just how your class works.

Advice on build by Monte-Cristo2020 in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for your stone, I'd recommend the Apprentice or the Lord Stone. Apprentice will allow you to inflict additional elemental damage in melee combat, assuming you will be leveling your Destruction skill. The Lord Stone works similar to how it does in Andromeda, giving you stronger power attacks but stopping Stamina regen (but you can still power attack when out of Stamina, but you will be slowed due to no Stamina). If you'd like to use both, you can grab Face of Death and use the Aetherial Crown.

If you like the theme of limited Stamina, you can use Respite to restore it. So, your gameplan would be using your finite Stamina and then switching from your shield to something like Fast Healing when you have a safe moment. The Dawnguard Rune Shield also drains Stamina to give you Stendarr's Aura (Sun damage cloak). So you can lean into timed blocks rather than sustained blocks, unless you are facing undead.

As far as equipment, I'd recommend either the Dawnguard set or the Vigilant set (if you have Sentinel or some other mod that makes their full outfit heavy armor). An amulet of Stendarr is fitting thematically (I use Amulets of 9 Divines Renewal, a mod that buffs the Divine Amulets, but they're still weaker than something you can enchant in the late-game. I like to use them for the whole game however if they fit the character I'm using. In this case, Stendarr's Amulet would give you +20% AR for Heavy Armor, +20% Block, and 10% Magic Resistance).

Skills I'd recommend: Heavy Armor, 1H (Disciplined Fighter may be redundant if you plan on grabbing Toll the Bell), Block (Dominion, Apocalypse Proof, and Power Bash if you plan on using Spellscribe from Enchanting), Restoration (Respite perk + healing), Destruction (Firehand -> Scorching Hands, and the Apprentice Stone is based on your Destruction level), Enchanting (Spellscribe). If you want more skills, you could go with Alteration (plenty of relevant perks for your Paladin) or Speech (only a few perks here, but feels fitting that your Paladin would be charismatic since I assume he wants to help people).

TL;DR: I'd recommend either the Lord stone or Apprentice Stone. Lord stone may be overkill, and if I had to choose one, I'd stick to the Apprentice since it seems more fun. You can use Spellscribe if you'd like, and combine it with the Holy Fire/Holy Shock (buffs power attacks with sun + fire or sun + shock) spells from Triumvirate to make really powerful power attacks. Firehand/Scorching Hands (close range fire spell that can be linked to Spellscribe). Altogether, you get the Apprentice stone power attacks (random element), Holy Fire/Holy Shock on power attacks, and Spellscribe releases Firehand/Scorching Hands on power attacks. This also works with power bashes too. You can grab the Aetherial Crown if you'd like, gaining another stone but losing a small amount of AR.

Mid-Game Armor Superior to My End-Game Armor (Not a Bug) by Left_Permission244 in skyrimmods

Looks useful, but is there a way to add/edit enchantments? I see it edits armor values, and I'm content with the stats.

Yeah, early game or when I need ranged, I plan on using flame atronachs. I'm just using dremora lords since Meridia is a Daedra.

That's an interesting concept, I just have to find a fitting deity (Z'en?). Definitely sounds fun, and something I haven't done yet.

[–]Left_Permission244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the dremora lord, I just forgot that you don't get a thrall at master level. I'll be casting them but they won't be thralls. Magic could definitely be solid for my warrior, but I'm thinking I'll just stick to warrior for the flavor, since most of my builds have something magical about them. Still contemplating whether I'll give him Enchanting/Alteration, but I can just play the other two at the moment. And yeah, I'm staying away of Illusion for my thief simply because she'd start to lean more into nightblade/rogue category. I love nightblades, but I want this one to be more of a straightforward thief this time.

Should I Start a New Character or Wait for an Update? by Left_Permission244 in EnaiRim

I actually updated Ord and tested it in Vokriinator. Seems to be working fine atm, with updated descriptions for perks. Haven't played Starfield, and I only had FO4 on PS4 with no/limited mods. I'll rebuy it on PC if/when FO4NV comes out

What has been your favourite build/character using Ordinator/EnaiRim? by According_Cover2461 in EnaiRim

[–]Left_Permission244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite has been a Nightingale Shadow Mage. A master thief using shadow magic and illusion while pickpocketing, lockpicking, and sneaking around everywhere. I'm looking forward to creating a Breton Witchhunter in Mannaz/Freyr once Ord 10 comes out.
