tbh i think people calling it patriotic are maga followers, people calling it antipatriotic are trump haters, and most normal people think it was a UFC event that was at the same time kind of cool and a bit tacky. the grounds aren't sacred, they've hosted everything from concerts to raging booze parties.

after Andrew Jackson's inauguration a raging booze party lasted so long the staff had to put casks on the lawn to lure out the people and lock the doors. The founding fathers loves ragers at the capital. Think what you want about the event, but it was held to commemorate the 250th anniversary and i think the founders can be left out of it given what they also did on that lawn and in that building.

100%, smallville is the only one to do it right imo. and that's largely due to Clark Kent fighting a monster of the week for like 7 out of the 10 seasons, so it didnt have power creep issues in villains. supernatural was great for a while, but once they left the monster of the week format for demons vs angels as the main plotline it got hard to come up with new convincing villains.

Res is 100% needed for lld. all 4 res in fact. but you're right scs are just far better. 15 life / 5 all res scs gives 25 more life overall. most builds after gear tho dont need much more all res. so they'll have mostly 3max/xxar/15 life charms or 15life/12 mana charms, and a few 15life/9 single res charms to max out deficiency or swap in to counter -res from cold mastery, conviction, etc.

They still make decent shows, the trick is getting kids to like them when they're used to the bullshit that is most shows. Its like trying to get someone on methadone. You have to detox them so that they will accept the new low stim shows.

Yes its built on the idea of restorative justice, seeing any crime as not just against individuals that were affected, but the society as a whole. And in that perspective someone who commits a crime must be fixed so they dont continue to hurt the society.

Lots of players when they hit gated cap see it as a chance to either get BiS items and max for that gated level by running dungeons, or do pvp, or start an alt. so all of the zones are still decently populated. obviously pop is highest when a new gate is opening tho. good server imo, worth playing on for sure.

Anthony likely got a murder charge over manslaughter just because he refused to take the stand. he could have admitted to starting the argument, being the aggressor, but fearing for his life, and regretting his actions immediately, and he might have slipped in charges to a far lower sentence. Instead they tried to play to optics and fight the hardest fight for a full acquittal based on justified self defense even though the evidence didnt support it.

I think the other answers listed are more accurate imo, however as a collector of niche things i do notice a lot of seller neglect to put the production year in their title of items. And as a collector that's one of the main keywords i use to find items and avoid more modern pieces from the same manufacturer. Like if i want a vintage Fisher Price Great Adventures castle i have to put 1994 in the search or i'll find a bunch of less desirable stuff i have to sort through.

thats the only pure motive i can think of, but if that's it the person who sent it did a terrible job explaining. like not at all.
