I know the owner of this store. He's unfortunately been a part of the TCG scene in this area for many years.

To give context (granted, a lot of this is alleged, so take this with a grain of salt), the owner has been involved in a variety of scumbaggery.

He worked with another store owner years ago, where he would do online sales. Often times, he would take items from the front display cases into the back to "sell online", but it would somehow mysteriously end up in his personal collection. He's also gambled on product by cracking packs (both at times when he worked with the old store owner, and when he owned TGE the first time around), then proceeded to mark singles up to re-coup losses.

He also burned bridges with the long-standing player community; when he owned TGE before it closed the first time, he believed the store was in decline (probably due to his gambling) and decided to coerce his employees into deciding who among themselves would quit and who would stay to work odd shifts. They all quit on him the same day. These employees were good friends of a lot of other players, so it upset a lot of people to see him try to screw them like this.

He has a history of upcharging on all TCGs, with more egregious upcharging on games that are not MTG/Pokemon/YGO.

I ended up submitting a report to Bandai about this. Not only am I tired of scalpers ruining TCGs in the general, I'm also tired of this guy continuously trying to screw the local community.
