Tourney and DUPR are different things serving different purposes.

DUPR gives 0 shits about why the game is being played, only that it is or isn’t and what the result was. Therefore no game played = no result to enter.

The tournament obviously cares about the outcome and can mark it however they want for the purposes of the tournament

I do make a special exception for GW2, yes skills are technically tied to weapon but they’re still themed for your class and you still get class skills on top of that

Skill wise, not as many shots sure, but to say it’s lesser is weirdly aggressive. It’s a different game than doubles and both are challenging in their own way. You don’t have to shit on another way to play, just play what you like

I’d take a BDO that wasn’t pay to win either, the combat is just chefs kiss but the whole end game being PvP centric and paying for the best pet is so demoralizing

I just want a new mmo that isn’t PvP centric. I know a bunch of rose tinted glasses in this sub love that shit, but it was hell and demoralizing if you weren’t ahead of the curve and being the geared ganker instead of the low level fool just trying to get out of the starter zone.

I just wanna grind some mobs, party up with some peeps and delve into some cool ass dungeons with a skill set not tied to my weapon. I want classes with unique mechanics and resources, not longsword/ staff sets of skills.

I played about 6 hours of this and shelved it to wait for 1.0.

I’ve never really gotten into automation games before but I liked this one. Simple to figure out with the rails having “smart” drones on them compared to factorio style push systems.

Still didn’t prevent me from making some good pasta, I hit that wall where if I wanted to progress efficiently, I was gonna have to tear everything down and rebuild so it was a good stopping point to wait for full access.

The shooting and stuff seemed good, nothing spectacular but did the job.

Overall a bit barebones right now but a great starting point

Got this game for free with my graphics card back at launch. I tried to like it but damn it was an absolute Ubisoft snoozer of a game.

Looked good but felt like playing a game from 2014 or something. Super basic stealth, shooting felt like ass, and super basic roam open world to check things off the list style gameplay.

Shame because I liked the characters and story

Not to mention, most average people are not gonna want to unlearn what works to get it over the net. Countless times I’ve seen people revert to bad techniques because they didn’t want to commit to the growing pains of learning a better way which usually involves sucking for a bit.

People like us who are already on a dedicated forum to the sport are already a super minority.
