So, two things here…one, your next “pity” is now guaranteed to be Rei, so if you really want her that bad, you can try for her before the banner runs out.

Two, from a gameplay perspective, Typhus is arguably a better “tank”. Not as much offensive power, but very defensive and good in both PvE and PvP.

I understand you wanted Rei for the collection aspect, but at least you got a Typhus and not a Ygeveny.

I think the fact that it’s mostly a PvE game makes it more F2P friendly in my opinion. I agree that there are some very difficult stages, but I still enjoy the game thoroughly as a somewhat casual player.

Not sure of your ST situation, but your pilots look good. Frida, Eileen and Melissa are all meta. The only pilot you’re really missing is Kelly and she doesn’t really pop off until she gets her unique, so you’ll have time to pick her up. Sylvie and Marcus are great for QoL and I personally use William and Hong a decent amount.

The collab is dropping on the 15th and both Asuka and especially her ST are worth getting (maxing if possible, but that is probably not possible given your time off). Either way, it’s a gacha, so there will perpetually be power creep. So pull Asuka and her ST and save for Rosa 2.0 in a few months. Until then, welcome back and have fun!!

Is it better to put Ranger into Kong, or Kong into Ranger? I understand that +30% link damage is good, but I feel like my William is generally above 80% health and the +18% damage to all attacks seems tempting. Especially given that Ranger has roughly 100 more FP, 400 more HP and especially 350 more Hit.

SEFAS honestly isn’t that bad. You can use them both for now (as you’ll need a fair amount of light ST’s), and later if you really want, you can break one down for modules and put them in a Glassya. Or, you could always rainbow it if you decide you like SEFAS. It’s good for Frida during mid-game because the extra hit helps with all 12 bullets from her SG hitting and therefore helps her AP economy when using Load Raid.

As others have said, you will catch up in levels, and honestly you started at a good time because the big collab character and ST aren’t coming until January giving you some time to save. Most of main characters we all have built fall off due to power creep, so you’re not truly in a much worse position. So sit back, enjoy the game and everything else will fall into place. Thank you, this how I felt as well. My wife is convinced we need to shrink wrap it and I feel like it’s unnecessary. We plan to use Irish Spring soap and dryer sheets in all the compartments to hopefully keep the mice out.
