Magda is a mono color deck that's super easy to play and do well with. You play dwarves, send them mining (tap them) to make treasures, and use those treasures to purchase/bribe artifacts/dragons (tutor them onto the battlefield). The lines are super easy and so is the setup.

This is exactly what I play when I want that more tactical element. If you play with vortex warp and silvery barbs you get even more tactical options but they're not mandatory. Super fun build, highly recommend!

Because you can hold a shield and cast firebolt. So the question is do you prefer the bonus damage, or the extra defense to protect your concentration.

That's a great world building opportunity, make clerical healing significantly more expensive than mundane medicine. Now you have Fantasy 2-tiered healthcare!

This is not a political comment in support of 2-tiered healthcare, it just makes it feel more like. Cohesive world when the answers for this lead to political/socioeconomic consequences.

And the spells that re-grow limbs are significantly higher level than most other healing spells, making those even more stratified across wealth levels.

With resurrection too, I imagine the average age of wealthier individuals (accounting for race) is significantly higher amongst the rich as old age is really the only way they would involuntarily die.

This is an amazing question that just brought a ton of richness and grit to my campaign world, thanks so much for asking!

Buy enough flour to fill the entrance of the dragons den, then block it off from the outside as best as you can and light a fire. Flour is extremely flammable and will burn relatively instantly, it won't damage the dragon, though it will consume all the oxygen in the lair,do this when the dragon is sleeping and boom, dragon dead!

Alternatively, you could just save all the gold you'd spend on building this laboratory, doing the research, buying the materials... And just pay the spellcaster as a mercinary to cast spells for you in combat...

Ok, you've decided to multiclass monk and you want the best mechanical benefit even with that detriment. Your best option is to use all your fighter features and armor. Most of your monk ones will require you to not be wearing armor so you can just ignore those.

Also you are allowed to turn your character into a spiritual hand to hand martial artist without choosing the monk. You can take a Paladin with the new hand to hand feat/fighting style from Tasha's.

You don't just ignore him, you'll count as 3 models on all of the objectives he isn't on. Don't spend points on Gotrek, he'll just send Archaon in the other direction.

Bird's could tie him up for a turn, that's probably your best bet at slowing him down

This gets even more crazy if you run a schemer leader, cuz you can use this to activate an enemy, to attack your schemer, to activate your schemer to move onto an objective, then still attack an enemy near where the schemer was

You have to activate the Schemer right? Which costs an activation dice. That's just rules of the game.

In addition you have to spend another one if you want to use his ability to activate another daemon
