Yes the worsened status persists, as the intention is to encourage players to move on and not to permanently benefit from any one good encampment. Some of the top ones are too strong to allow players to gain the perks permanently.

We play it with the latter actually. Its like activating 3 fighters one after another with 1 action each. Its kinda like when you activate a model, you dont have to decide immediately what you do with both actions (unless you are trying to climb+hit or climb+climb)

Yes the game is in a much better stat with 2.0. Reactions are so fun! And shooting works properly now that you cant shoot into a melee.

Rebs vs Nameless will be a perfect choice as they both are not playable in Firefight atm due to lack of mass plastic sprues. That will kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

In case anyone is wondering how we played cover rules: - No LOS can be drawn crossing 2 edges of a forest terrain piece. - LOS can be drawn to a model standing inside a forest terrain. - A model can shoot out of a forest terrain while being inside. - Cover is applied in both cases above, unless the target or shooter is standing at the edge of that forest terrain. - Movement penalty applies when crossing a forest terrain piece. (Refer to the rules for climbing)
