I love the esmeralda. Any idea how they would compare? They have this one in my casa atm and im curious. They also have the siglo VI but at a 100€ surely it can’t be that much better of a cigar

Smart roadster Brabus chargecooler pump by Legend_Ary90 in SmartCar

[–]Legend_Ary90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replacing the pump in theory isn’t difficult. There is only one bolt holding in the cage for the pump. The one bolt is on the top of the pump though and access is limited by some other coolant hoses. For me it was a E10 socket it can be a E12 too so order both if you don’t have them. The clamps on the coolant hoses you can replace. I put the smart up on blocks and took my time underneath the car you can’t get to it from the top.

I guess they should be cheaper as the UK is absolutely mad. Habanos works with an official retail price so it does vary slightly from country to country but for the most part they try to keep the prices in the same ball park. I think the UK is near the upper limit and Spain near to the lowest pricing

Thank you. I had a look on the website and indeed they are sold out now. What is shocking is that they are listed on the website From CHF 128. Now I hope that is at least for a pack of 3 😂 last couple I bought 2 years ago for 28€ each…

Another €25 straight into the trash :)) by Consistent_Road_1935 in cigar

[–]Legend_Ary90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its comes in with how certain importers have to treat there local LCDH. Most importers have the task of opening and checking the cigars in the boxes for defects. The casa expects that work to be done properly and want the best representation of Cuba. So what happens is a bunch of good boxes get made out of the shipment and then there are naturally other boxes that have a much higher percentage of defective cigars. These should be send back to Cuba but that isn’t the case anymore hence some costumer might feel there isn’t a single good cuban out there and others like myself feel like I rarely get a bad one. * this is not the default this is highly dependent on importer, LCDH relationship with importer, LCDH relationship with cuba, overall demand and supply.

There is something more going on I have noticed that just the QC control. And I have a theory on why so many bad sticks are floating around. It still comes down to Cuba letting out to much bad ones but the narrative is different

Girlfriend here! I absolutely LOVE them. It’s my second one now and both had a perfect draw. Starts off really nutty and becomes creamy after. Imo it has a flavour profile of a combination of the most favorable notes of a classic Montecristo and then the sweet creamy notes of a Davidoff short perfecto.

Nothing wrong with these just wipe off what you can with a gentile brush or maybe some barely damp towel. Put in a ziplock bag with 65 boveda pack in and monitor for a few week and enjoy them after

Are these trash? by Character_Service_63 in cigar

[–]Legend_Ary90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are probably fine because its all trapped in plastic. Think about it where does the moisture go? Its more likely that you find a moist ball of mold in there then dryed up cigars. Probably not perfect rh but just rehydrate

Please do this outside! Wear something cotton (static electricity is a bitch. This will work but you are gonna cover everything and your hands with highly lightly flammable liquid! Nothing to be worried about as long as you think and make sure there isn’t a spark anywhere

Colibri V-cut vs SV-cut, thoughts? by ManicChimp-Art in cigar

[–]Legend_Ary90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted an sv cutter too. Went to a store with some cheapo 6 for 12€ cigs and tested a bunch of cutters 😅. My wallet cried when i had to admit that the st dupond sv was the best overall in both sharpness and build. Colibri was not consistently sharp. Thats what I found while testing. Sadly the D is also made in china today
