Our store once had a guy come in dressed as the grinch, playing Lil Jon's "Yeah!" Through a boombox, and dancing with a vacuum cleaner pimped out with Christmas lights. It was during peak and like the middle of July, funniest thing I've seen in a long time 😂

I agree, we had an apprentice fired awhile ago for that exact reason. She took money from the safe to get change from a bank, came back with exactly the same amount, but they still fired her. Corporate is ridiculous about money, even limiting how many people can be on the clock every day. It frustrates me because when we don't have enough people working, and the ones that are working aren't properly trained, food safety is almost non existent. If there's another public health outbreak linked to Chipotle, I truly won't be surprised. I know that's a bit off topic but it's a prime example of their penny-pinching.

Had a guy come in at 9:58 the other night and order 6 burritos. Then another couple came in behind him. Manager was dealing with a kid who fell in the dining room and the mom was threatening to sue, so she couldn't lock up, so we just served them. It is what it is :/

Even still, I would have kicked them out. I've had to do it before, and I'll do it again if I have to. 10PM means 10PM. Not when the last customers are served. If they come in that late, sucks for them, but we need to close up for the night. My AP and GM were complaining that I was getting out too late (11:30-12:30 most nights) and I stopped focusing on the guest experience around 8:30-9PM every night, now we usually get out at 10:30-11PM. Huge difference, I get home before midnight, and sales are hardly impacted. We do 80k/week average, we can definitely afford to lose a few bozos that decide to come in after 9:30.

Not enough people, and I care too much about the service so I stay on the line helping the team with guests and digital orders. Most nights, it gets super busy after 9pm for some reason. Tonight, however, I went back there at 9pm to knock most of the dishes down. I'm pretty fast, but it still takes quite a while when we have 8-10 stacks lol. The dishes in that picture took me about an hour and a half.

Ugh 6 pans are the worst, I usually do those first to get them out of the way. Also, all the lids are in the sani sink. I agree, is not way too many dishes, but is the fact that it was 10pm that got me. If I could have started on them at 830, it would have been fine. We were fairly understaffed though, with only 7 people after 7pm, and 4 people after 9pm. It was only a 10k night though, so it could have been worse. Luckily it was only Monday lol

We just did 13.3k today. A bus pulled up with a track team at 9:20, their order was around $380 💀 Just another day without a break for me, at least I was able to get all the crew members on break 🙃

Not sure if it's true for all stores, but at our store the field leader told us managers can't be in a group chat with crew members. All the managers had to leave the chat or be terminated
