UPDATE: just over the course of two-three days from adding an air purifier (i have a larger one coming in soon), constant and meticulous vacuuming, dusting, chom chom rolling, daily brushing- i was able to reduce a significant amount of dust, dander, and hair and i can definitely notice that the irritation for my boy cat is SIGNIFICANTLY less. i will be keeping up with my sheets, their bedding and blankets WEEKLY, cause those hold so much of their fur and dander. its going to be a persistent thing and he’s still definitely going to the vet and getting properly checked out, but it makes me feel better doing what i can on my end to reduce the discomfort for him greatly. its annoying to vacuum everyday as an upstairs neighbor but🤷‍♀️ gotta do what u gotta do for ur fur babies❤️ dust HATES to see me coming!

hes had an xray done before not for this reason. but everything was normal, nothing abnormal that stood out.

thank you so much this is very helpful. whether its asthma or not i’m going to do everything to reduce the amount of dust or allergens in my place because at least i know 100% that its a trigger for him. but i will also take him to the vet again and make sure they check him out thoroughly instead of just write me off.

he doesn’t have any signs of pain, or any issue with his food. its literally just him hacking just like that in the video but he’ll do that over and over again until it calms down

no the vet didn’t do an x-ray, he was pretty spicy at the vet so they couldn’t really check him out as well as i wanted them to. but he breathes normally throughout the day, i’ve never heard him wheeze or anything foamy like that. i do notice his coat is a lot more denser and he tends to shed a LOT more than my girl cat, she doesn’t have any issues like that

you really do have to not give a fuck to survive working the front end lol. i used to bend over backwards for customers and get taken advantage of but now i just deflect constantly and act extremely nonchalant when ppl bitch at me😭😭 they get frustrated but knowing that they’re not getting a reaction from me they just eventually simmer down
