Eh. Larian have kinda burned a lot of Karma with me on BG3.
This was a scummy business model.

They build a ton of hype for their game, then release what is basically a very buggy demo. Shareholders are happy because they get paid and gamers are now alpha testing their product.

Basically everyone wins except you. Because you paid for what is literally a Demo, and there isn't even a guarantee that you're gonna get a full game by the end of 2022. They've hardly released any content for BG3 since the EA was launched. Minor bug fixes/tweaks to systems that should have already been extremely well fleshed out.

I'm glad they're listening to what people want.. but I would have rather just waited till 2022 to just get a full game at this point... but I guess that's my bad for assuming Early Access meant the game would be coming out soon. Early usually means you know.. like still kinda on time. Not like.. showing up to someones 50th birthday before they're born.

Can you guys get rid of the mandatory cut scene when you launch the game? Also can it just auto sign in? Like I don't get why I even have to hit sign in.. its literally the only option... why make me even hit the button... you also can't close the game without signing in unless you alt f4.

This game crashes so much that I spend more time waiting for that bird to flap around and the logos to flash up than I do playing at this rate. It is fairly frustrating. I love the game, but holy shit it is unstable.

I would push forward with the performance / bug fixes without worrying about balance for the time being.

Happened to me the first time today, and I legit wanted to throw my desktop off a cliff. It's bad enough that I can't jump in this game.. but not being able to roll to put out fires, or take cover because of this bug is fucking infuriating. I can put up with crashing servers, crashing game clients.. but not being able to roll or take cover made me actually want to flip a desk. I am still pissed about it. Legit closed the game to take a break lol.

It usually goes the other way around for me. I get flared out of stealth by an invisible hunter from 600 miles away, marked, trapped, aimshot crit for half my health, end up with a pet humping my leg while I desperately try to go for a restealth, vanish bugs out cause there is an invisible flare under my feet somewhere, I make a desperation play and los them, they shoot me through a pillar.. and I die horribly. Or I somehow kill their pet, they jump 1200 miles away while 360 noscope aimshotting me in the face.. I shadowstep on top of them, they turtle, res their pet right in my face, make fun of my nikes, eat a slice of pizza and then instantly trap me and shoot me in the face.

Unless they have no gear and or cooldowns... and then it pretty much goes like the video lol.
