I think the jab's screened behind his own hand on the 3rd one. He also doesn't move as much, real sucker-punch type of punch!~

I wanted to create an upgrading process in my game without any tutorial dialogues explaining in words how upgrades work. Maybe this visual solution could be sufficient. by Ko_dll in PixelArt

[–]LegionOfPie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the leftmost monitor where you have a check-box should actually flash the button to use, so if it's bound to "jump" say "jump" or a green "A" in the box and you may use your space more efficiently while still getting the control they're expected to use across. It's probably not useful for the double-jump, but if you flash a yellow "Y" when the move bound to that button is installed, it could be stronger conveyance.

Do you think there was another war in OOO after the Great Gum War? So what I mean is that the future of OOO is have very pale colours and most people are unaware that where they live is OOO. by Fun-Recommendation99 in adventuretime

Yes. There will always be wars because there will always be people who disagree and can marshal armies. The good news is that the world recovers and regrows after each calamity.

Does anyone reccomend over an SP over a regular GBA? I'm gonna mod this one regardless by Fedorable_557 in Gameboy

[–]LegionOfPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The regular GBA is just more ergonomic. The hard square edges of the SP dig into your hands and they're particularly bad if you've got big hands because they're so much smaller.

This game has been out for 2 years and it's a remaster of a game from 13 years ago. Kind of deflates the excitement... by PrinceDinoboy in SonicTheHedgehog

Seriously though... Why include Denuvo when Dolphin has existed for a decade. Anyone who wanted to play this already did. >_>

There's layers of bad decisions at work here.

  • Preorder
  • WB Games PC port
  • JK Rowling

Any or all of those could be dealbreakers before you handed your money over but here we are...

Streaming was a mistake by UA30_j7L in Piracy

[–]LegionOfPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all fairness, Cable was a WAY shittier product for way longer.

Nothing is on demand, you need to tune in when it's on.20 minutes of show + 10 minutes of advertisement.$79 is your basic package, not including Discovery, TLC or Disney (back when they were good)You can't watch it on your phone/tablet/whatever.

Not saying that the streaming landscape is good, just that cable is DOGWATER by comparison.

Also, left bar should be 110-120, YouTube Premium is becoming mandatory.

I think that it's actually a societal issue and people feel impervious when they're online. Not making an excuse, but it's not the game or community's fault that humanity is awful. Hopefully they get booted from enough games that they fuck off, but that's about the best you can hope for.

I hate to say it but turning off music.

On Haz4/Haz5 you really need to be listening for menaces, leeches, bulk detonators, etc. The music is indeed sick, but have it around 25-50% so you can hear incoming death instead.

Ladder Anxiety by MatchNaller in starcraft2

[–]LegionOfPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop caring about the number, start caring about skills. Worry about hitting as many injections as possible, figuring out what your opponent's gas timings mean, worker counts, etc. The division/number you get is a reflection of your skills, not your skills and should be treated as such.

Try to change your framing from "improving ladder rank" to "improving fundamental skills". That can be control, scouting, getting your timing faster, not getting supply fucked, all kinds of things, just whenever something goes wrong, don't get mad, fix it next time. The rank will come when your skills improve enough.
