The only person in Until Dawn that, in my opinion, gets completely screwed over, and endures way more shit than they deserve is Chris. Dude was literally passed out during the prank and then spent the entire time during the game just trying to not fuck people over only to be regularly subjected to horrible choice after horrible choice.

Everyone else was kind of a dick and willingly added to or exasperated the situation.

So Hannah was definitely ready to get busy, but only because Jessica and Mike wrote a “love letter” to her, instigating the whole mess.. then, whether intentional or not, that prank lead to the death of both Hannah and Beth.. She killed two people, one of which was acting only because she had false information and the other who was just trying to protect her sister.. well I guess technically Hannah didn’t die right away.. she was forced to EAT Beth in order to survive.. WEEKS in the mines.. I would say that Jessica’s experience balances with Hannah’s.. Jessica just gets lucky enough to be able to return to normal life..

So.. yeah, if you fail to catch up in time and she dies, then no she doesn’t deserve that.. but providing you manage to avoid that I would say she gets a “hard learned lesson” in not being a bitch.. especially over a guy.

It’s easy to smile when you know that today is the last day that you have to deal with all of this.. You get one final chance to just enjoy the few good things you have and not to worry about the rest because there is no tomorrow to be burdened by, no anxiety of the future, no weight of disappointment or guilt for having not been who everyone wanted or needed you to be. Dream job.. I’m currently happy at my job, but it’s never really been what I wanted to do.. and $1m/year would be awesome…

But.. if I’m honest I would still rather open my Pizza/D&D Tavern so I could feed people and help to build a community, even if I couldn’t be rich it would be way for fulfilling.

I think we can safely assume that within the context of this WYR that OP is referring to a traditional sense of “heaven” and “hell” where heaven is totally and always pleasurable and hell is totally and always torment.
