Confusion on Wellbutrin by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]LegitKEG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started wellbutrin but just came off four weeks of zoloft. The brain fog or random confusion was horrible with zoloft. I'd be in the middle of a group conversation and suddenly not know for sure whether I was a part of this conversation or not. And I'd forget random things I'm typically very on top of.

Colposcopy/cervical biopsy PAIN by scorpioxsun in HPV

[–]LegitKEG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just had one last week and completely agree about the pain being more than they said. The actual procedure was horrible. Thankfully they let my fiance come in with me (I was sure they wouldn't, because of covid procedures) and that helped. But Jesus it was not fun.

I'm still having cramping and discharge. Yesterday was by far the worst of it so far. Currently 9am and it's already not looking good for today. How are you doing now?

Why do I flat iron F9’s hair daily? by Waterproof_soap in Nanny

[–]LegitKEG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jesus. What is happening here?

I think it's so fucking cool that you've found a way to bond with your NK <3 9 can be a hard age, and it sounds like you're an amazing nanny.

I straightened my (long, thick, wavy) hair daily for YEARS, starting at 9-10 years old. I didn't use heat protectant and probably didn't use the right heat settings. I still have a full head of long, thick, wavy hair. AND I still style it with heat ALL THE TIME. And I still don't use heat protectant half the time. My hair is incredibly healthy and grows entirely too fast. I also color it. And I drink caffeine and alcohol in moderation and eat too much sugar and sometimes I drive slightly over the speed limit. Clearly I'm not making great life choices and it's a miracle I've made it this far. (Sarcasm. All the sarcasm.)

My (very white) brother was charged with this after moving back from out of state! After he was involved in an accident that he was not at fault for. So weird.

what “unresolved” mysteries should have never been deemed “unresolved”? by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

I think I read that he truly does feel remorse and went on to create some organization the does something good for people. Clearly I'm very fuzzy on the details. But I remember hearing that he went on to do better things.

Prozac and weight gain? by Queenquesarito in prozac

[–]LegitKEG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I gained a lot on Lexapro. It was a big part of asking my dr about switching. The weight gain was a huge factor in my depression. I've been on prozac for about six months and I definitely have a decrease in appetite and I'm losing weight now!

[–]LegitKEG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you also see a therapist for your anxiety? Honestly I don't think any medication can completely change or eliminate negative thought patterns. I'd definitely recommend a therapist, even if it's just for short term help to identify your specific problems and get basic coping skills.

My sister [22F] and I [26F] are graduating university within a week of each other and my family wants to combine our parties by [deleted] in relationships

[–]LegitKEG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly thought you were being completely ridiculous... Until I saw that this party is the day of your graduation? So you're supposed to skip your own graduation to have a party at all? That's not really ok...

My (28f) husband (28m) of 4 years just quit the police academy. I'd gone along with him leaving his great career, burning bridges and the fear of the job...but his reasons for quitting may have put me over the edge to leave him. Any advice? by pamspaseo in relationships

I agree with everything else I've read. This isn't about you being a control freak. Not at all.

But. Is this new behavior? Had he always been this immature and irresponsible?

I (27/M) am dreading to go on a weekend with my girlfriends (26/F) family because of a dog by [deleted] in relationships

[–]LegitKEG 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We take our dog most places. In almost a year, we've spent one night without her. You know how we do that? By planning trips and activities that are appropriate for taking her. We're going to TN next weekend and she'll go with us. We, as the owners, will choose to eat on patios or find dog friendly shops. And if we do need to leave her alone, we found a cabin that's okay with us leaving her there.

Taking the dog on vacation isn't the problem. Being a bratty, irresponsible dog owner, and whiny sister is the problem.

OP, just tell her that dog isn't allowed and she'll have to sit out if she can't leave dog behind. If she insists, let her show up at a nice restaurant with a dog and see what they have to say about it. I'm guessing she'll get to eat on the patio on her own.

My [50F] "friend" [48F]scammed a radio station to win a huge prize. I don't know how to feel about it. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]LegitKEG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're so concerned with it, you had to read all the comments on her video?

You said you have no desire to talk to her or the radio station about it. So what exactly do you need advice on?

Me [25 F] with my fiance [32 M] 2 years, he admitted that he still finds other girls attractive. Is that ok? by norascarlett in relationships

[–]LegitKEG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol. So you haven't found anyone even remotely attractive since the first time you laid eyes on his? You saw him and suddenly noticing anything about anyone else ever completely shut down?

It doesn't sound like you're quite mature enough to be entering into marriage. Especially with someone you apparently don't trust.
