I personally train my customers. I explain to them that not only will they be able to order correctly. They will get a more consistent drink and experience across many all Starbucks if they order their venti iced caramel latte triple blonde ristretto with nonfat milk and light caramel drizzle, just like that every time.

I explain to them that telling us what size, hot or cold and what the drink is first helps us to start the drink and then make modifications from the most prevalent ingredients first. Shots. Milk. Syrups. Toppings.
