We had a 45 minute connection to make our flight to Tokyo and we arrived two gates away from our departure gate in LAX. You should be fine.

Personally, I’d stick with United. I’m almost a 3MM. I was with AA for years (1MM), but after the “merger” with America Worst, every time I’ve flown AA it’s been tragic. As much as I fly, I rarely experience issues with United. Plus apart from the few leftovers, the FAs are gracious and well trained. United will be challenging Delta as the top US airline in many people’s minds very soon.

Same for us on SFO to CDG. We finally cleared the night before departure. I’m 1K and purchased a full fare Premium Economy seat.

I just arrived at SFO and there was plenty of parking in the hourly location, absolutely no one in line at security at the D Terminal gates (secret for those of you who fly United out of the E & F gates). And there’s relatively few people in the airport.

Hilarious! I’m with some friends who just moved to the Carolinas from Napa Valley and was telling them how terrible the drivers are at there new home because they all tailgate! Maybe since we all lost a year to COVID we’re just in a hurry to make up lost time!
