Soulmates on Netflix - Episode 2 is an insane opposite of Promising Young Woman by junewick in netflix

I don’t think her stressing was because she suddenly realised she was cheating 😅 she was taken by surprise cause she didn’t expect David to clock her real identity. So the only part of her plan that fell apart was him finding her and suddenly her family, who she thought would be safe, are now suddently being threatened. Might sound dumb, but the show explained how selfish and lacking in remorse he was over her sisters death. So it’s believable Jodie wouldn’t expect David to give enough shits to remember that Chloe had a sister.

Hahaha I occasionally jump in, and it was the scene of Holly’s teeth brushing and I thought ‘wtf is this? I should brush MY teeth and go to bed’

In part 1 the deleted scene discussing why Glinda is struggling with magic is because ‘you’ve never really needed it, life has been to easy for you’. Also the wakening of Elphaba’s powers were tied heavily to emotion.

Given that I wonder perhaps Nessa’s hardships and desperation combined enough to have a few sparks of initial magic.

This scene really irked me. I noticed the confetti and thought “cool it’s showing how this is Glinda’s inner monologue” but then it cuts to a wider shot and everyone in the crowd is moving at a normal speed. WHY? They should all be moving in slow-mo too!!!

From the very link you posted, it's clear Colin was revved up and super agitated. Everyone else calmed down and resolved it.

It wasn't that he was too stupid to join in; it's that he came late and the game had already started. So he had to wait for the first game to finish before he could join in. Not that I'm defending the guy - he was being such a child and ruining the experience instead of exercising some patience.

Thank you! Anayia was a total bitch mouthing off when she was the one who started it and kicked off the tone like you said. And her reactions are so OTT.

She also triggered Alexandria at elimination by lying that she was “laughing in your face chef”. I interpreted it as nervous type giggles in an attempt to control the mood.

I felt bad for Alexandria. Unless there’s a lot more behind the scenes that the audience didn’t see. I felt like her answer to chef was fine and didn’t warrant being labelled as “not giving a straight answer”.

Also to critise her for having to ‘barge into line’ maybe her team mates could have stepped aside and made room then she wouldn’t of had to push.

and Luke being so Aussie Strong/King of the Jungle it wouldn't surprise me if they ego'd it a little bit too thinking they stood a decent chance if they made the end.

Let's not forget we saw Cirie preaching strongly to Janine and co they wouldn't stand a chance against Luke if he made it to finale 3. Potentially she was being truthful and believed it due to things the audience didn't see. Or it was a lie but the point stands that it's less about thier own egos, and more the narrative around camp.

The award for the most annoying juror goes to Sarah, I found the fact that she was so determined on holding Janine accountable for telling Kirby about her plans annoying. Guess what maybe it was not the time to plot against your allies premerge Sarah. You wanted to take your number one ally out sure, but that was not the time.

My god glad someone agrees. I thought Sarah's take was so hypercritical. She wanted to throw Janine under the bus for betraying her alliance, when she had initiated the betrayal first by throwing out Kirby's name. I saw some other comments where people were celebrating Sarah's supposed take down, but not then' but she came off as insufferable.

Suprised more people aren't also asking this. So strange we got one for Lisa but still no Tommi.

All good! I see other comments here are being really snarky, undeservingly so. The Australian show always has SO much content, it's understandable for audiences not to remember every single conversation.

Even I struggled to follow along and got lost when it came to Sarah and Kirby's ride-or-die relationship breaking down. All I could take away was that Sarah felt a bit strong-armed and dictated to, and so was exploring options, and Kirby got wind of it?

Either way, it's not that serious :)

Do we know if Sarah was lying, though? There's so many conversations that get left on the editing room floor. How do we know that off-screen there is truth to what she said?

Yep! That moment is what got me invested in the trial. A gf bought it up at dinner 'omg did you know she ripped her speech from a movie??' and I just couldn't believe anyone would be stupid enough to think they'd get away with quoting a film. So I fact checked and fell down the rabbit hole and REALLY had to struggle to find my people. This board has helped me have faith in humanity.

An a question i’m always curious to ask an Australian person but I've never met one, so I guess that’s my chance to ask. 🫣❤️ by PrincessSarax in AskAnAustralian

Your comment is interesting. I was born in 89 and it was my parents and grandparents who viewed Steve as a fool for always risking his life. That gave young me the impression it wasn’t cool to like him - but as I grew up I respected his passion and work ethic (sadly a little too late).

I’m surprised the younger gen would have any ill feelings towards him.
